On Deck

Nick starts the tour from the yacht's hi-lo platform, which has a garage that can accommodate a Williams 385 and a Sea-Doo Spark jetski.

The yacht has wide side decks, leading to a foredeck C-shaped seating area and sunpads with a removable awning. Particularly impressive are the quality stainless steel work and beautifully crafted fenders.

The flybridge has a seating area next to the upper helm that is ideal for leisurely coastal cruising. The flybridge is customizable, and the one on this yacht features a jacuzzi and wet bar/dining area.

Interior

Inside the yacht, he points out the major difference between this Pearl 80 and the previous one he toured, which is the layout and woodwork choice. This yacht has a Kelly Hoppen interior with luxurious dark woodwork and a satin finish. The dining area is larger than the previous Pearl 80, with a smaller lounging area. The TV lies opposite the seating area and is retractable.

There is a convenient side access door near the helm, useful for crew members, and a galley with massive fridge freezers. The lower deck of the yacht houses four cabins, with the VIP cabin in the bow being unique due to its 45-degree angled bed. There are wonderful walk-in wardrobes in each cabin and well-designed ensuite bathrooms with designer sinks and rainfall showers. The owner's cabin is highlighted for its beautiful design, spaciousness, and the escape hatch leading to the crew area.

Crew Accommodation

The crew cabins are accessed from the side deck. The double crew cabin has the same level of decoration and furnishing and could double as a fifth cabin if needed.  There is an ensuite and laundry facilities also.

Performance

The engine room houses two massive MAN V12 engines, each producing 1,800 horsepower. It also has a direct exit to the cockpit, which is great for safety reasons.

Nick finishes the tour by taking the yacht out to sea, where he gets to experience the yacht's impressive performance firsthand. He confirms that the Pearl 80 can reach mid-30 knots at full speed and has a range of about 350 miles at high speed and over a thousand miles at displacement speeds.

In Summary

Overall, Nick seems highly impressed by the Pearl 80 yacht, appreciating its luxurious design, spaciousness, performance, and safety features. He also enjoys the yacht's customization options, allowing owners to get a layout and design that suits their preferences.
