The The ShowBoats Design Awards 2012, held in February at the prestigious Superyacht Design Symposium, brought together industry leaders, yacht builders, and enthusiasts to celebrate outstanding achievements in the world of yachting. The Bespoke Furniture Award category showcased an outstanding selection of models that captured the industry's finest achievements. Claiming the title, High Power III stood out among the rest, with several other notable finalists, including entries from Heesen, Nobiskrug, and CRN Yachts. The event was open to everyone, providing an inclusive and celebratory atmosphere to honour the year’s most acclaimed yachts.
Winner
The yacht High Power III was the winner of the Bespoke Furniture Award in 2012 at the The ShowBoats Design Awards.
Numptia’s dining table, designed by Achille Salvagni, based in Rome at Salvagni Architetti, was declared the winner of this award. The hand crafted, oval, riveted surface was inspired by wavy sand patterns found in the shallows at a beach and is made from nickel silver. This sits on three sculpted parchment-covered pedestals inspired by pebbles, smoothed by the constant wave action.
