Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 26'6" beam and a 8'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 338 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the third yacht built on the 40 Metre Yacht design.

Exterior Design

The yacht's exterior is characterized by clean lines and a robust profile, which is typical of Sunseeker's commitment to performance and durability. Acacia's foredeck features an expansive sunbathing area and additional storage capabilities, showcasing practical design elements that cater to both relaxation and utility needs. The clamshell storage area, ingeniously integrated into the foredeck, provides additional refrigeration and freezer space, a thoughtful addition for extended cruising and on-deck entertainment.

Aft, Acacia boasts a sizeable tender garage that underscores the yacht's readiness for water-based activities. The garage door lifts to reveal a sizable storage space, which houses a Williams 395 jet tender and has ample room for jet skis or other water toys. The bathing platform, which is located just behind the garage, can be lowered into the water, allowing for effortless launching of the tender or for guests to enjoy direct sea access.

The flybridge, accessible via stairs from the aft deck, is a testament to Acacia's dedication to outdoor living. It is equipped with a Jacuzzi surrounded by seating, a generous sunbathing area, and a full-service bar, making it an ideal space for relaxation or hosting guests in an open-air environment. Retractable awnings provide shade when needed, adding to the comfort and versatility of this elevated deck.

Throughout, Acacia features side decks that allow for complete circulation around the yacht, facilitating crew movement and guest privacy. The upper deck is furnished with comfortable seating and a dining area, enhancing the outdoor experience with panoramic views.

Acacia is functional, purposeful, and devoid of unnecessary embellishments. It reflects a commitment to delivering a high-quality, robust yachting experience that is characteristic of the Sunseeker brand.

Interior Design

Acacia's saloon, with its wonderful carpeting and upholstery, presents a welcoming environment for guests. Furnishings have been carefully selected to provide a harmonious balance between comfort and space, accentuated by the strategic placement of lighting to enhance the atmosphere.

In terms of dining, Acacia features a dedicated area that accommodates guests with ample seating. Lighting in the dining area is designed to set the right mood for both daytime and evening meals, ensuring that the space is always appropriate for the occasion.

The galley, upgraded with new refrigeration units, is equipped with industrial-grade appliances, including cooking stations and an extractor fan. The layout is pragmatic, providing the crew with an efficient workflow to prepare meals. Storage solutions are integrated throughout, ensuring ingredients and culinary tools are readily accessible. The galley's design is completed with high-wear flooring, suitable for the demands of food preparation at sea.

Accommodation

Acacia provides sophisticated accommodations for up to ten guests across five staterooms, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience on the water. The layout includes a master suite, along with two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins, allowing for a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit the needs of those on board.

The full-beam master suite, located on the main deck, is the pinnacle of the private areas aboard Acacia. It offers guests a sanctuary with ample space, featuring a king-sized bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and a comprehensive en suite bathroom that includes both a rainfall shower and additional water jets. The suite is complemented by a dressing table and extensive storage solutions, providing the ultimate in convenience and luxury for the owner's comfort.

Below deck, the accommodation is divided into four well-appointed cabins. Each guest cabin boasts considerable space and includes an en suite bathroom equipped with modern facilities that mirror the high standards of the master suite, albeit on a slightly smaller scale. The attention to detail ensures guests enjoy their stay without feeling any compromise in their accommodation.

For crew members, Acacia offers generous living quarters that are designed to maintain a high level of service and operation. Up to eight crew members can be housed on board, enjoying their own dedicated cabins, each with an en suite, which underscores the yacht's commitment to the well-being and privacy of both guests and crew alike.

Performance & Capabilities

Equipped with twin MTU 12V4000M93 diesel engines, each producing a formidable 3,180 horsepower, Acacia is engineered to deliver robust performance. These powerful engines enable the yacht to achieve a top speed of 23 knots, making her an agile vessel for her size. At a cruising speed of 13 knots, guests aboard Acacia can enjoy a harmonious blend of speed and comfort, perfect for traversing vast distances with ease.

The yacht's fuel capacity stands at 27,391 liters, which affords her a commendable range. When operating at a steady pace of 10 knots, Acacia can cover a maximum distance of 1,727 nautical miles, allowing for extensive voyages without the frequent need for refueling stops.
