Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 34'1" beam and a 10'2" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,000 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2007. Launched in July 2010 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Adora features a classic clipper bow, providing both aesthetic appeal and practical benefits for navigating various sea conditions. The hull and superstructure are finished in a pristine white, creating a clean and timeless look. The boot top and below-the-waterline sections are painted in black, offering a striking contrast to the white upper sections and enhancing the yacht's sleek profile.

One of the defining features of Adora’s exterior is the extensive use of seamless window panels, which are the longest ever installed on a Benetti yacht. These windows stretch across the saloon and dining areas, allowing for an abundance of natural light. This design choice aligns with the owners’ preference for well-lit spaces.

The sun deck, equipped with a wellness center, includes a gym and a long main dining table for guests. The deck also features a music and DJ console system with integrated speakers, capable of delivering 6,000 watts, transforming the area into a functional disco space. Additionally, the gold Bisazza mosaic pool with built-in seating and chaises longues adds a modern touch to the deck.

Adora’s garage has been adjusted to increase the crane load capacity to 1,360 kilograms, accommodating a Yachtwerft Meyer, a MasterCraft, and two Yamaha Wave Runners. This change provides the owners with a broader choice of tenders.

Interior Design

The interior design of the yacht Adora showcases a blend of contemporary style and advanced technology. Created by the Claude Missir Agency, the design emphasizes natural light and modern aesthetics. The main saloon features a floor composed of squares of travertine, teak in various shades, and macassar ebony. The saloon and dining area benefit from seamless window panels, which are the longest ever built by Benetti, allowing for extensive natural light.

A standout feature of the interior is the cylindrical glass lift, which has walls programmed to change color. This presented a significant challenge to the technicians, as it required the entire structure to be made of glass with integrated lift mechanics. The lift is surrounded by a sweeping staircase, adding a dramatic element to the design.

The main saloon offers an expansive space for social gatherings and relaxation. The area is designed to be light and airy, with a focus on balanced environments. The use of bronze details, marble, and wood add to the overall aesthetic. In the dining area, the long main dining table provides ample space for guests to enjoy meals in a sophisticated setting.

Adora also includes a wellness center on the sun deck, complete with a full-beam gymnasium. This area allows guests to exercise and relax, contributing to their overall well-being during their time on board. Additionally, the upper deck has been customized to include a cinema area, enhancing the entertainment options available to guests.

Accommodation

Adora offers accommodation for a select number of guests, ensuring a private and comfortable experience. The layout is thoughtfully designed to provide both luxury and functionality.

Adora features several cabins designed to maximize comfort and privacy for guests. There are two large double guest cabins on the lower deck. These cabins are characterized by alcoves for the beds, utilizing the stair column radius, which not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also optimizes space. Additionally, two twin cabins are situated forward along the corridor. The placement of the doors further along the corridor ensures that they do not open directly onto the beds, thereby enhancing traffic flow and accessibility.

The master suite is located forward on the main deck and offers a series of rooms for exclusive use by the owner. The suite begins with a narrow office leading into the stateroom, which features a king-sized bed on the centerline and a desk/dressing table to starboard. The portside marble bath is partially open to the stateroom and includes separate his-and-hers showers. Forward of the bed, steps lead up to a crescent-shaped study, providing a private space for relaxation or business.

On the upper deck, the yacht includes a VIP cabin. This cabin features a bed placed athwartship, facing a large picture window. The full-beam superstructure ensures complete privacy, even with the curtains open.

The crew quarters are designed to provide a functional and comfortable living space for the staff. The area includes five double en-suite cabins and a spacious lounge, ensuring the crew can perform their duties effectively while also having a dedicated space for relaxation.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M60) engines, motor yacht Adora is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 34,342 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
