Key Features
- Upper deck dining table for 10
- Owner's stateroom with full-beam layout
- Sun deck with forward Jacuzzi
- Light, open saloon-dining area
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 2.5m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 480 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the third yacht built on the Magnifica 46 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in June 2005.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Alaska features a raked bow, contributing to its streamlined and efficient profile. The deck is constructed from teak, offering both durability and a classic nautical appearance. The hull is painted in a dark blue color, providing a striking contrast against the white superstructure. Below the waterline, the hull is finished in black, ensuring a clean and functional look. The combination of these elements results in a yacht that is both visually appealing and practical for seafaring.
The sun deck, referred to as the pleasure deck, includes a circular teak table under an arch, providing a space for informal alfresco dining. A Jacuzzi is situated forward, with a nearby bar and sunpad, offering wide panoramic views. The main tender is stored aft of the engine room in the garage, which can also function as a beach club when the transom door is lowered. The garage area is lined with wide-planked raw teak, providing a private area for sea access or relaxation under an extendable awning.
Interior Design
The interior design of Alaska is focused on functionality and comfort, using high-quality materials and advanced technology. The main deck aft serves as the primary welcome area, leading guests into the main salon through a sliding glass door. This cozy indoor living space is tastefully separated from the dining area by a double-faced Samsung 78-inch television screen, which can be concealed when not in use.
The upper deck offers another indoor salon featuring a C-shaped sofa oriented towards a 75-inch Samsung television screen, also designed to slide out of sight at the push of a button. Enhanced natural light is provided by enlarged windows, creating a brighter and more inviting atmosphere. The bar area on this deck is efficiently laid out and leads past the captain's cabin to the wheelhouse, which is equipped with modernized and upgraded electronics for optimal navigation and control.
Accommodation
Alaska accommodates up to 11 guests in five cabins. The main deck features a master suite, providing a private retreat for the owner. Additionally, there are two VIP suites, a double cabin, and a twin cabin with a Pullman berth. Each guest cabin includes an entertainment center and en-suite bathroom facilities, ensuring comfort and convenience for all guests on board.
The crew quarters are designed to house up to 10 staff members, ensuring that the yacht is well-maintained and all guest needs are promptly attended to.
