The 121.8m classic yacht Alexander was delivered to her owners in 1966 by German shipyard Lubecker Flender Werke. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Lubecker Flender Werke.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and superstructure she features a 16.9m beam and a 5.8m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 5,933 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in mid 1965. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in December 1965 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 1966.
