Delivered in 2017, Black Legend is a 49.9m open yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Mangusta. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Mangusta's in-house design team.

Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 1.9m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 485 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2016. This was the twelfth yacht built on the Mangusta 165E design. Launched in April 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2017.
Exterior Design
Black Legend has a striking black hull with red detailing, constructed from GRP materials, ensuring durability and strength. The superstructure is also made of GRP, while the deck is crafted from teak.
The spacious exterior decks are designed for both relaxation and entertainment. The foredeck includes a Jacuzzi, forward view seating, and sunbeds with awnings, providing various options for leisure. The sundeck is equipped with sunpads, a cocktail bar, and a DJ booth, making it an ideal space for social gatherings.
On the lower deck, the beach club and stern platform offer waterside relaxation. The garage setup is perfect for watersports enthusiasts, with ample space for chase boats and tenders. The large aft deck includes a bar, barbecue, al fresco dining area, and comfortable sofas - great for hosting large groups.
Interior Design
The interior design of Black Legend is characterized by a modern achromatic color palette, enhanced with red and gold furnishings. An Asian-inspired theme is used throughout, utilizing exclusive fabrics to create a sophisticated atmosphere.
The main deck salon is spacious and directly connects to the expansive aft deck. This area includes a bar, barbecue, al fresco dining space, and comfortable sofas designed to accommodate large groups.
The pilothouse is equipped with triple helm seats, five multifunction display screens, a small seating area, and raked windows. This layout ensures that the helm is both practical and user-friendly, facilitating smooth and efficient operation. The galley features white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, offering a clean and efficient workspace.
Accommodation
Black Legend offers comfortable accommodation for up to ten guests across four well-appointed cabins. This includes a full-beam owner's suite located on the lower deck, which features a private study and a dressing area.
In addition to the owner's suite, there are three guest cabins on the lower deck. These include a VIP cabin, ensuring that guests experience a high standard of comfort and privacy. Each cabin is thoughtfully designed with modern furnishings and exclusive fabrics, maintaining the yacht's Asian-inspired interior theme.
Black Legend is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 4 x diesel MTU (16V 2000 M94) 16-cylinder 2,600hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Black Legend is capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 40,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 800 nautical miles at 25 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
