The 49.9m open yacht Apricity was delivered to her owners in 2014 by Italian shipyard Mangusta. Her naval architecture and interior design comes from the drawing boards of Mangusta, while Stefano Righini is responsible for her exterior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 1.65m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 488 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2010. This was the eighth yacht built on the Mangusta 165E design. Launched in February 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2014.
Exterior Design
Apricity's hull is painted white, which complements the white superstructure, creating a cohesive look. Accents are provided by the black boot top and the black color below the waterline.
The foredeck is equipped with numerous cushions, a sunbathing area, and a Jacuzzi with an awning. The flybridge includes a five-seat bar with a crystalline marble mosaic in vertical white and blue stripes, separating the helm station from a large lounging area that can also serve as a dining area for up to eight guests. The deck also features a grill.
The aft deck features wide, blond teak planks with pale gray caulking, divided into a seating and dining area with a large table that seats 12. The wide side decks offer excellent sight lines past the superstructure. The stern logo is highlighted in teak on the wide bathing platform, enhancing the visual appeal.
Apricity is equipped with a range of water sports equipment, including a 21-foot Castoldi jet tender, two WaveRunners, two SeaBobs, a slide, water skis, snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, and BladeFish Sea Scooters.
Interior Design
In the salon, the focal point is a long bar outfitted with gray leather stools. The bar area includes a retractable wall of fine liquors and a television that can be concealed when not in use. Adjacent to the bar, a substantial table covered in stingray leather opens to reveal a selection of board games. The salon's design incorporates leather divans, versatile coffee tables, and a humidor, contributing to a sophisticated yet practical space.
The dining area on the main deck maintains a consistent color scheme of grays, black, white, chrome, and light-toned woods. This space seamlessly flows into the salon, creating a unified and functional layout. The dining table, situated under the skylights, benefits from an abundance of natural light, enhancing the dining experience.
Accommodation
Apricity offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 4 suites. The master suite, located amidships, spans the full beam of the yacht. The suite features a double ensuite bathroom clad in marble, adding to the luxurious feel. The ceiling is adorned with lacquered mother-of-pearl panels with wood inserts, while the floor showcases gray-painted oak parquet with mother-of-pearl inserts. The bed's headboard is crafted from gilded fabric within a white lacquered frame. His-and-her wardrobes come with leather paneling and gray back-painted glass, respectively.
In addition to the master suite, Apricity has three guest cabins with queen-sized beds, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The guest cabins are designed with variations on the master suite's themes, incorporating ash wood and onyx with glass mosaics in the showers. These cabins are forward on the lower deck. An additional cabin can be converted from a cinema if required, adding flexibility to the yacht's accommodation options.
She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 3 x diesel MTU (16V 4000 M93L) 16-cylinder 4,600hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Apricity is capable of reaching a top speed of 40 knots, and comfortably cruises at 36 knots. With her 40,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 691 nautical miles at 35 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. A sumptuous cinema suite allows for movie nights at sea and a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Apricity also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
