Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 25'3" beam and a 7'10" draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 310 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2007. She was delivered to her owners in July 2009.
Exterior Design
Built in 2009, the 41-meter motor yacht Blink is one of only two Akhir 41 models. The design by Carlo Galeazzi focuses on performance and utility with an elongated sporty foredeck. With a full-width teak-laid swim platform and hydraulic lift, access to the water is straightforward and user-friendly.
Powered by twin 3,648hp MTU engines, Blink reaches a top speed of 27 knots. Her cruising speed of 22 knots provides a balance between speed and efficiency, allowing for a range of 1,100 nautical miles. The Hydrosystem BT80 bow thrusters enhance maneuverability, making docking operations smooth and controlled.
The sundeck provides extensive seating and includes an upper helm and a wet bar with dining aft. The yacht is wheelchair friendly and has an elevator for access to the sundeck.
The tender garage offers space for a 4.8m Ribline tender, optimizing storage without sacrificing deck space. The design incorporates teak decks and zero-speed stabilizers, for stability and comfort while at anchor.
Interior Design
The interior design of Blink, crafted by Cristiano Gatto, features a distinctive wood grain-matched chequerboard paneling motif throughout, offering a contemporary aesthetic with understated elegance. The main salon and lounges are spacious, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation and socializing.
The galley is equipped with modern domestic equipment, including a Gaggenau 5-ring gas burner, combination grill, microwave, and oven. It also features two Gaggenau fridge freezers and an extractor hood, ensuring functionality and convenience for meal preparation.
Additionally, the yacht features a lift for easy access between the main and upper decks, enhancing accessibility and ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests.
Accommodation
The motor yacht Blink, by Cantieri di Pisa, offers accommodation for 11 guests across five cabins. The centerpiece of this arrangement is the full-beam master suite, located aft on the lower deck. It features an open-plan office and an en-suite facility, ensuring a private and comfortable space for the owner.
The guest accommodations include a double VIP cabin and a twin cabin, each with its own en-suite shower room, situated on the lower deck. Additionally, there are two single cabins. One of these, found on the lower deck, includes a Pullman berth and an en-suite shower room. The other is located on the main deck and is designed with a large en-suite for disabled access, also featuring a Pullman berth.
For the crew of up to 8, Blink provides four twin-bunked cabins, each equipped with its own en-suite shower room, facilitating efficient and comfortable service on board.
