Key Features

  • Large bathing platform via fold-down transom
  • Unique portside passageway for increased privacy
  • Full-beam saloon spans 11.52 meters
  • Light-toned oak, white lacquer interiors

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 37'9" beam and a 13' draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2004. This was the fourth yacht built on the 56m Series design. Launched in January 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2007.

Exterior Design

Caoz 14's aluminium masts and carbon-fibre booms, equipped with Leisure Furl in-boom furling, offer enhanced sail shape and sailing efficiency. The higher aspect ratio of the masts and relatively lower deckhouse contribute to a balanced profile.

The transom and a portion of the aft deck fold down to create a large bathing platform, providing convenient water access. This feature is complemented by a smaller platform that opens from the portside stern quarter, a standard in the 56-Metre series. The dual platforms facilitate safe separation of tender operations and bathing activities.

Guest facilities include a shaded dining and lounging area on the slightly sunken aft deck cockpit, with a large plasma screen for entertainment. Steamer chairs and a spa pool are also available on the aft deck, along with sunbathing cushions and a sofa.

Caoz 14's fairing and paintwork are of high quality, reflecting a true image of the side boarding ladder in the jet-black hull. The yacht's storage solutions include large lockers beneath the foredeck for tenders and a centrally positioned third tender on the foredeck, launched using a mast-mounted derrick.

Superyacht Caoz 14 is an award-winning Ketch, ideal for a charter vacation with friends or family.

Interior Design

The interior design of Caoz 14 focuses on modern vibrancy and functionality. The main saloon spans the full 11.52-meter beam, providing an expansive viewing area for guests.

Key modifications include the removal of the crew corridor along the port side of the main saloon and the redesign of the central stairway. The previously enclosed stairway now features floating treads within a transparent structure, contributing to the saloon's dynamic and multifunctional nature. This space can serve as a lounge area, a screening room, or a children's playroom.

The interior features light-toned oak wood, white lacquer, and bright flooring. The selection of materials and furnishings was a collaborative effort with the owner and his family. Choices include carpets by Kashtall, Dedon outdoor seating, an Eames lounge chair, and a Vitra pouf in the main saloon. The design also emphasizes practicality and ergonomics, with ample shelf space for books, art, and collectibles.
