Key Features

  • Unique, custom woodwork and designs
  • Hydraulic swim step for tender
  • Dual salons, upper and lower
  • Spacious master with his/her bathrooms

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement composite hull and a mahogany superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 1.78m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks.

Exterior Design

Essence of Cayman features an open cockpit, enhanced by a sunshade setup that offers a tent-like feel. This area benefits from loose furniture arrangements, allowing future owners the flexibility to customize the space to their preferences. Additionally, the built-in seating area provides a comfortable spot for leisure activities.

The hull design includes side boarding doors and a stern door, creating an enclosed and secure environment for safe movement on board. The hydraulic swim step at the aft section is notable for its size, comfortably housing a tender of around 15-16 feet, with the capacity to accommodate a larger tender if necessary. The passerelle door offers an alternative boarding option, enhancing accessibility.

Moving forward, the walkways are designed with ample width, contributing to a comfortable and safe passage to the foredeck. The bow area features dual anchors and windlasses, accompanied by sizable anchor chain lockers and additional storage for fenders and lines. These practical elements are complemented by a cushion area suitable for relaxation and sunbathing.

The superstructure is made of mahogany, providing a classic and timeless look. The deck is finished with teak, known for its resilience and natural beauty. The hull is painted in a dark blue color, creating a striking contrast with the white superstructure. Below the waterline, the yacht is blue, maintaining a cohesive color scheme.

Interior Design

Essence of Cayman features custom woodwork throughout, providing a nostalgic yet modern feel. The woodwork is handmade and custom, hidden elements like the completely concealed air conditioning vents.

Upon entering through the sliding doors, the main salon offers an office working area on the port side and storage cabinets on the starboard side. Notably, the yacht has two salons: an upper and a lower salon. The upper salon allows for unobstructed 360-degree views, with a sitting area that comfortably accommodates six people. The lower salon, accessible via a wooden handrail staircase, includes a large TV and a proper dining area.

The helm station is situated on the starboard side, with a companion helm on the port side. The helm bench is notably plush, and the area includes essential navigation and control instruments like a Garmin chart plotter, Simrad, and analog engine monitors. The visibility from the helm is excellent, aided by sliding windows and overhead hatches for cross ventilation.

The galley, located forward and down a separate staircase, is compact yet fully equipped. It features a large fridge and freezer, dual sinks, a dishwasher, a five-burner cooktop, a microwave oven, and ample storage. The area also includes a small dinette and serves as a crew mess.

Accommodation

Essence of Cayman is designed to accommodate a total of six guests comfortably. The yacht features three main guest cabins, two of these cabins are mirror images of each other, positioned on the port and starboard sides. Each cabin provides ample space to move around and includes a porthole for natural light. These cabins also come with their own en-suite bathrooms, equipped with a generous one-person shower, toilet, and storage options.

The master suite is located aft, accessible via a separate staircase. This suite boasts a spacious layout with a California king-sized bed. The suite includes a walk-in closet with well-finished drawers and ample hanging space. There is also a dedicated working area that can serve as a personal office or a makeup station. The master suite is equipped with a large TV, offering entertainment options.

The en-suite bathroom in the master suite is uniquely designed with his and hers sections, connected by a large Jack and Jill shower. The "his" section features ample storage and a single sink, while the "hers" section includes a bidet and a larger getting-ready area.

The crew area is designed to accommodate up to four crew members, though the yacht can be effectively run by a crew of two. The crew quarters include two cabins, each providing a comfortable sleeping arrangement. Each cabin includes an en-suite bathroom.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12) 1,200hp engines, motor yacht Essence of Cayman is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and comfortably cruises at 21 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
