Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 21'2" beam and a 5'10" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 110 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
The exterior of the yacht 'Hubo' is straightforward and sporty, featuring a white hull and superstructure. The flared foredeck is wide enough for entertaining guests. The yacht is distinguished by its elliptical-shaped windows, which end in angular points, giving it a unique appearance.
The open flybridge includes a jacuzzi, providing an additional leisure area. The hydraulic swim platform is an important feature, offering a lifting capacity of 650 kg, which is sufficient for transporting a tender. When anchored, the swim platform can be lowered for easy sea access.
Interior Design
Hubo's saloon features leather-covered sofas on both sides, creating a cozy atmosphere ideal for relaxation or social gatherings. A TV on a hi-lo mechanism offers entertainment options, while a bar cabinet provides storage for glasses. Wooden panels conceal additional storage for dishes, and a conveniently placed wine cooler complements the well-appointed dining table. This table, with its wooden base and glass countertop, accommodates eight guests, making it suitable for dining and socializing.
The galley is equipped with essential appliances, including a Miele cooktop, oven, and dishwasher. The double-door fridge and freezer offer ample storage for provisions, while the pantograph door enables discreet crew movement, maintaining privacy for guests. The helm station is efficiently organized, with a comfortable captain’s chair and essential navigation equipment arranged for easy access. The L-shaped settee nearby provides a space for informal meetings or enjoying a morning coffee.
Accommodation
The yacht Hubo by Azimut is designed to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests in four en-suite cabins. The owner cabin, located amidships, presents a spacious retreat with full-height windows that enhance natural light and provide picturesque views. The cabin includes a king-size bed, a full-height wardrobe, and a sideboard for additional storage. The owner cabin features an en-suite bathroom equipped with a double sink, ample storage, and a rainfall shower.
In addition to the owner's cabin, Hubo includes two identical double cabins, each with its own bathroom and shower. These cabins feature opening portholes for fresh air, blackout blinds, and integrated storage solutions. Entertainment is readily available with TVs fitted in each cabin.
The VIP cabin, positioned at the front of the yacht, offers slightly more space than the other double cabins. It includes a double-door wardrobe, extensive storage options, and a larger bathroom with a marble countertop and a spacious shower.
For crew accommodations, Hubo provides two crew cabins with facilities to house up to three crew members, ensuring smooth operations and service throughout the voyage.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MAN (V12) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Hubo is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. With her 1,691 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 300 nautical miles at 22 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
