Liberta is a 137' expedition yacht delivered by Newcastle in 2007. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Luiz de Basto Designs, while DeJong & Lebet Naval Architects is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 29'3" beam and a 8'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 386 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2004. Launched in April 2006 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in January 2007.
Accommodation
Liberta offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412B) 12-cylinder 1,100hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Liberta is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 19,285 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,900 nautical miles at 11 knots.
