The 45.6m motor yacht Moatize was delivered to her owners in 1999 by Pendennis. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Dubois, while RWD is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 9.45m beam and a 3.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 509 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
Construction started in early 1997. Launched in December 1998 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 1999.
Exterior Design
The 360-degree panoramic sun deck is a key feature, providing an all-weather space that includes a raised Jacuzzi for leisure. The deck area is partially covered to offer shade, with additional awnings available for extended sun protection as needed. Forward on the top deck, a Jacuzzi invites relaxation, while amidships, a dining room with glass walls allows dining in any weather conditions. Aft, the deck features a seating area with sun loungers, offering a comfortable space to enjoy fresh air and sea views.
The yacht's helicopter landing pad is equipped with refueling capabilities, expanding travel possibilities. The robust build features a large covered top deck, designed to maximize usable space whatever the weather.
Interior Design
The interior design of Moatize, crafted by RWD, features a sophisticated palette with navy blue carpets contrasting against cream furnishings throughout the yacht. Mahogany paneling adds a classic touch to the overall aesthetic.
The main salon is accessible from the main deck aft and is equipped with a formal dining area that can accommodate up to 10 guests. This space offers a versatile setting for both relaxation and entertainment, with direct access to the guest elevator that serves all guest decks.
Accommodation
The yacht Moatize offers accommodation for up to 15 guests across seven cabins. The cabins include a full-beam Owner's suite located forward on the main deck, providing a spacious and comfortable retreat. Additionally, there are two VIP suites, three double cabins, and one double cabin with a Pullman berth. Each cabin features ensuite bathrooms, finished in verde Rajasthan marble, and is equipped with entertainment centers and flatscreen televisions.
For the crew, Moatize provides quarters for up to 11 members in six cabins, ensuring a well-managed and efficient service during voyages.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508 DITA) 960hp engines, motor yacht Moatize is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 71,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
