Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 455 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2010. She was delivered to her owners in June 2010.

Exterior Design

Mystic, a sleek CMB yacht boasting a white hull and superstructure with a forward-leaning dynamic, underwent a refreshing refit in 2020.

Beginning at the raked bow, the foredeck prioritizes functionality, accommodating tender and personal watercraft stowage, with a lifting crane prominently featured. A central teak walkway leads over the coaming to access the bridge's side decks, where the raked back glazing of the bridge areas receives subtle shade from the overhang of the sun deck above.

Plentiful portholes are placed within the hull, ensuring ample natural light and reflection reach the lower deck interiors, while a prominent strake runs from the stern to the forward of amidships. Open gunwales and fairleads on the foredeck add visual interest.

Vertical glazing interrupts the bulwarks on the main and upper deck, providing open views from within and illuminating the interior spaces with natural light. The stern, sharply angled, houses a large central transom door, with twin staircases providing access from the main deck aft.

The main deck aft features banquette seating complemented by stylish freestanding rattan chairs in the corners, offering a chic and comfortable outdoor living space.

The al fresco dining area aboard Mystic is situated on the main deck aft, offering seating for 12 guests on slim rope-weaved chairs adorned with soft turquoise cushions, creating a stylish and comfortable setting for outdoor dining.

Moving to the upper deck aft, additional guest space is available, featuring banquette seating nestled within the curvature of the deck shaping, while teak handrails add a touch of elegance to the space. L-shaped seating accompanied by occasional tables offers a rear-facing view.

A large circular jacuzzi takes center stage aft of the sun deck on Mystic, surrounded by sun pads with a vibrant turquoise color, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Beneath the canopy of the radar mast, guests can unwind at the bar area and grill, enjoying the shade while indulging in refreshments.

Opposite the bar, a dining area is tucked under the arch, offering guests the experience of dining under a star-lit twinkly-light ceiling above, adding a touch of magic to the dining experience. Comfortable sofas are positioned forward of this area, providing guests with elevated views to enjoy.

Interior Design

Designed by the renowned German firm Schnaase Interior Design, Mystic's interiors exude contemporary elegance with a relaxed ambiance. Cream and deep navy blue serve as signature colors, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere throughout.

Large windows adorned with slatted shutters add an interesting feature to the interiors, allowing for adjustable natural light and privacy. Walls and ceilings remain plain and uncluttered, accented only by occasional large pieces of abstract artwork that provide pops of color and visual interest. A feature Bernardi ceiling lamp illuminates the main seating area, complementing the central large square marble table.

Dark wood elements delineate the division between the lounging and dining areas, with a dark wood dining table complemented by cream suede chairs featuring dark frames. Custom light fixtures add a personalized touch to the dining space.

Cabins continue the theme of darker wood, accented with cream and hints of gold for individuality and sophistication. Bespoke ceiling lights serve as prominent features throughout the yacht.

Accommodation

Mystic offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six cabins. This includes two full-beam master suites, with one situated on the main deck forward and the other on the bridge deck aft. The bridge deck master suite is notable for its private terrace, providing an exclusive retreat for the occupants. In addition to the master suites, Mystic features two double cabins and two twin cabins. For added flexibility, a sofa in the owner’s office can be converted into a single bed suitable for a child. The design of the guest accommodation is contemporary, employing a palette of light carpets and finishes that are complemented by the use of dark woods and marble elements throughout the interior.
