Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.5m beam and a 3m draft.

Exterior Design

On the sundeck, the recent renovation has expanded the available space to 160 square meters, offering ample room for relaxation and socialization. The open counter and barbecue area invite casual outdoor dining, while the hanging egg chairs and open fireplace create a welcoming atmosphere for guests to unwind. A sail covering provides necessary shade over the Jacuzzi, catering to guests' comfort. The designated workout space is equipped for fitness routines, allowing guests to maintain their exercise regimen with an impressive backdrop.

The yacht's blue hull is chosen to reflect the surrounding seas, with hues that complement the water and sky.

Ohana's exterior design combines practicality with understated elegance, providing a comfortable and inviting environment for guests as they embark on their journey.

Interior Design

The interior design of Yacht Ohana relies on a palette of natural materials to convey an atmosphere of understated elegance. Fine woods, including teak and mahogany, are employed throughout the vessel, providing warmth and a tactile sense of comfort. Polished stainless steel accents and fixtures add a contemporary touch, while durable fabrics and leathers are selected for both their aesthetic appeal and longevity. Marble surfaces in select areas, notably the dining spaces and bathrooms, offer a cool, refined contrast to the wood elements.

A children's playroom and cinema are also incorporated, excellent for families onboard.

The yacht's dining areas are designed with a focus on sociability and comfort. The indoor dining space features contemporary marble tables and is positioned to benefit from natural light during the day. For evening meals, the area is illuminated by subtle lighting that highlights the textures of the materials without overpowering the senses. The outdoor dining setup on the upper deck allows guests to dine under the stars, with discreet lighting maintaining visibility without diminishing the night-time experience.

Accommodation

Ohana boasts an impressive capacity, accommodating up to 30 guests within its 14 guest cabins.

At the heart of the guest quarters is the master cabin, located on the upper deck. This exclusive space features a double bed and offers panoramic views. For added convenience, it includes both a bath within the cabin and an ensuite bathroom complete with a shower.

Also on the upper deck are two VIP cabins, which offer flexible bedding arrangements. The beds can be easily separated or combined to form a king-size bed, catering to varying guest needs. These cabins mirror the thoughtful design seen throughout the yacht.

The main deck houses five additional guest cabins, each featuring a king-size double bed. One standout cabin at the front of the boat boasts windows on both sides, immersing guests in the marine environment.

Below deck, guest accommodations include six cabins – three equipped with king-size beds and an additional single bed, and two offering king-size beds alongside separate beds. This versatile arrangement enhances the yacht's appeal for larger groups and families.

The crew of 11 is accommodated in eight cabins, ensuring that every need of the guests is promptly attended to with the utmost professionalism. The captain's quarters and the chief stewardess's cabin are situated on the same level as the guest cabins, optimizing service efficiency.

Performance & Capabilities

Ohana is propelled by two Caterpillar engines, rated at 500 horsepower each, which drive the vessel through the water with two propellers. These engines afford the yacht a cruising speed of around 9 knots, while the maximum speed that can be reached is about 13 knots. For guests concerned with sustainability and operational costs, it is noteworthy that the fuel consumption registers at roughly 27 liters per engine per hour when traveling at an economical speed.

The yacht's fuel storage capacity is considerable, with dual tanks that can hold a total of 12,000 liters, assuring extended voyages without the need for frequent refueling stops. Moreover, in line with environmental regulations and the yacht's operational policies, there is provision for the storage of dirty water.
