Key Features
- Hybrid design for eco-friendly cruising
- Convertible aft deck pool
- Multi-functional sundeck
- 8,000nm range at 6 knots
Design & Construction
Designed around a fast displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.94m beam and a 2.57m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 497 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the T52 design. Launched in February 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Ark of Fate yacht features a well-balanced profile, thanks to the carefully structured aft section, which supports a versatile beach club area. This space includes a 3.7-meter pool that can be transformed into part of the living area when drained and elevated.
The designers have prioritized environmental considerations, resulting in shaded open-air areas to protect against sun exposure. A notable feature is the upper deck's "pergola" with a retractable solid roof and three glass sides, offering a flexible interior-exterior space without compromising views of the sea.
Decorative elements, such as carved teak points on walls and dining table legs in the pergola, add subtle detail. The sundeck, covering 135 square meters, is configured with a bar, TV, sofas, and a glass-fronted dip pool, plus a direct connection to the foredeck seating area via a retractable walkway.
The hybrid propulsion system is a standout feature, allowing for quieter, smoother cruising. The spaceship-style wheelhouse, with its 180-degree crescent glass windows and touchscreens, combines functionality with a touch of car design.
Interior Design
The Ark of Fate yacht interior mood is calm and refined, featuring oak floors and a neutral palette with predominantly matte finishes.
In the main saloon, the furniture includes "Shanghai cream" pieces from Fendi Casa, complemented by Fontana Arte lighting. The space is designed to allow natural light to stream in through the large windows, creating an airy atmosphere. A skylight runs from the sundeck through the upper deck, further enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the yacht's surroundings.
The saloon's dark-stained oak floors and the walls, finished with lacquered almond leather and linen-inspired wallpaper, contribute to the overall soft and sober aesthetic. Leather in milky tones covers the wall columns and staircase, which also features a special ivory-colored stone that combines natural and artificial resin to ensure durability and slip resistance.
The ensuites on board are clad in oyster-colored Botticino marble, maintaining the yacht's theme of using high-quality materials with a subtle finish. In the winter garden "pergola," which serves as a dining area with a bar and drop-down screen, glass on three sides retracts smoothly to transform the space into a semi-al fresco area, ideal for indoor-outdoor living.
Teak is used extensively throughout the yacht's interior, from decks to doors, with some walls featuring decorative carved points that play with light and shadow. This attention to detail is mirrored in the legs of the dining table in the pergola, where the sides are designed with alternating flat and striped surfaces.
Accommodation
The luxury yacht Ark of Fate is designed to host a total of 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite is a highlight, featuring expansive windows that allow natural light to flood the space, creating a serene atmosphere. The suite continues the yacht's theme of subdued elegance with dark-stained oak floors and wall panels in a mix of lacquered almond leather and linen-inspired wallpaper.
In addition to the owner’s suite, guest cabins mirror the understated style found throughout the yacht, with consistent design elements that reinforce a cohesive and refined environment. These cabins ensure guests enjoy a seamless and connected experience during their stay.
She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
The Ark of Fate yacht, constructed by Baglietto, is powered by twin MTU engines, each delivering 2,000 horsepower. This robust propulsion system ensures that Ark of Fate is not just about aesthetics but also about reliable performance on the water.
The hybrid technology integrated into the Ark of Fate provides an edge in both efficiency and environmental friendliness. At anchor, the yacht can operate for up to 12 hours solely on battery power, catering to hotel loads. While cruising, it can travel for 3.5 hours using only battery power, contributing to a quieter and more serene onboard experience. In diesel-electric mode, with just one generator set engaged, Ark of Fate extends its range significantly, capable of covering nearly 8,000 nautical miles at a steady six knots. This capacity is particularly beneficial for long voyages, reducing the frequency of refueling stops and enhancing the overall cruising experience.
Amenities
In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea.
