Delivered in 2000, Queen D is a 41.1m motor yacht built by Christensen. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen, while Donald Starkey is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 384 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 1997. She was delivered to her owners in September 2000.

Accommodation

Queen D offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 VIP cabins, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel DDC/MTU (16V-2000) 16-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Queen D is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots. With her 43,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Queen D also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
