Construction started in late 2009. This was the third yacht built on the PJ 170 design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in June 2016.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Sanam features a striking combination of modernity and elegance. The yacht's hull and superstructure are both finished in a sleek silver, creating a cohesive and contemporary appearance. The boot top, painted in black, adds a subtle yet distinct contrast, enhancing the yacht's streamlined look. The deck is crafted from teak, known for its durability and timeless aesthetic. This choice of material not only adds to the visual appeal but also ensures longevity and ease of maintenance.
The foredeck features a 24 square-meter swimming pool, which is notable for a yacht of her size. The expansive exterior decks provide ample space for sunbathing, relaxing, and enjoying alfresco meals with friends and family.
Upon boarding via the hidden swimming platform gangway, guests enter the beach club area. This space is practical for preparing water toys while staying protected from the sun. The spacious swimming platform ensures easy access to the water and the tender.
The main deck aft includes a large alfresco dining table and a lounge area with a low table. This area is designed for both dining and relaxation. The vast aft deck further enhances the outdoor experience, offering extensive space for lounging and dining.
Interior Design
Sanam's interior design, crafted by the British design studio Todhunter Earle Interiors, emphasizes a calm and inviting atmosphere. The design palette consists of neutral shades combined with soft blue accents. Natural light floods the interiors through expansive windows, creating a bright and airy environment.
The main deck salon features large picture windows that create an immersive experience of being outside while enjoying the interior comforts. This area includes a dining table located beneath a double-height ceiling, which enhances the sense of openness. Floor-to-ceiling windows and exterior opening balconies on each side provide unobstructed sea views, further integrating the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Accommodation
Sanam provides accommodation for up to 15 guests in a well-planned six stateroom layout. The accommodations include a full-beam master suite located on the lower deck, which features a walk-in wardrobe. Additionally, there are two double staterooms and two twin staterooms on the lower deck, each equipped with a Pullman berth, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements.
She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
