Exterior Design

The exterior design of the yacht Pioneer features a raked bow, providing a sleek and dynamic profile. The deck is constructed from teak, known for its durability and classic appearance. The hull is painted in navy blue, creating a striking contrast with the white superstructure. The boot top is also white, adding a clean, crisp line above the waterline, which is painted red.

Pioneer features various deck spaces suited for different occasions. The top sky deck is equipped with sun loungers and a bar, ideal for relaxation or social gatherings. This area leads down to a large, split-level teak sundeck, offering additional space for leisure activities. The panoramic upper level is designed for relaxation, featuring a hot tub and an area suitable for alfresco workouts or yoga sessions.

The aft section includes a drop-down transom flap, facilitating boarding from a tender and access to a spacious lazarette. This area stores various equipment and provides a direct route to the engine room. The boat deck houses two RIBs and a three-ton lift derrick, with additional storage for equipment and supplies.

Interior Design

The interior design of the yacht Pioneer is characterized by its practical elegance and robust materials, ensuring both comfort and durability. The majority of the interior spaces are paneled in American cherry wood, with a design that favors function and understated style. The timber used is book-matched, where adjacent panels are mirror images of each other, creating a coherent visual flow. Floors are predominantly oak-planked.

The helm of Pioneer is the operational center of the yacht, featuring a fully-equipped navigation console. The console includes twin Kelvin Hughes ARPA radars, an Anschutz gyro-compass and autopilot, a magnetic compass, and a True-chart plotter. The bridge is fitted with outward-leaning windows equipped with windscreen wipers and Kent screens, ensuring clear visibility in various conditions. Additionally, the helm area includes a fully-equipped communications center with Satcom and mobile telephone capabilities, as well as a U-shaped settee and teak table for planning and discussion.

The main deck offers a dining room that can accommodate up to a dozen guests around a solid-timber table. Large, armored-glass windows flood the room with natural light while providing necessary protection from the sea. Adjacent to the dining room is a library, paneled in French walnut and lined with bookcases. The library is furnished with comfortable seating, a leather-topped writing desk, and a discreetly concealed bar, making it an ideal space for quiet relaxation and reading.
