Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 35'3" beam and a 9'6" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 820 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in September 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
SaraStar commands attention with its striking dark blue hull and sleek profile. An elongated foredeck features a helipad forward and an expansive seating and sun lounging area aft, designed with support surrounding matching the silver of the superstructure, creating a determined area for relaxation. Side extensions on the main deck provide additional access and features, while curves soften the sleek profile, extending from the lower deck hull to meet the water level at the transom. Glazing opens up the lower section of the hull, flooding the interior with light.
The stern reveals a bathing platform upon the lowering of the large transom door, which also opens up the beach club area. Tender storage is conveniently situated behind the beach club for easy launching. A line of fairleads is a feature of the angled quarter sides, and additional tender and watercraft storage is forward on the main deck.
The sundeck offers a vast open space with seating, dining options, a bar, and sun lounging areas, including a dining counter bar with monochrome bar stools. The canopy required to support the necessary navigation and communication equipment provides gentle shade over a section of the sun deck for easy retreat from the sun.
Exterior guest spaces focus on monochrome black and white with angled metal fittings for the staircase surround and fixtures like the dining table. Metal-supported chairs from Visionnaire's Panarea range add impact to the beach club area with cushions in deep royal blue and mid-blue ocean hues softening the design.
Three slim rectangular skylights in each deck sole infuse shaded spaces below with valuable light, enhancing the overall ambiance of the yacht.
Interior Design
The main saloon offers a warm welcome, boasting backlit onyx that creates a refined yet understated ambiance. A spacious television provides entertainment, while a custom lighting installation overhead adds a distinctive touch to the formal dining area forward.
Natural light floods the interior through numerous deck skylights, accentuating the yacht's interior color scheme and showcasing the quality materials used. Marble surfaces further enhance the yacht's refined interior, imbuing it with durability and timeless elegance.
The sky lounge provides additional lounge seating for relaxation or socializing, along with a second formal dining area for versatile entertaining options.
Finishing touches throughout the yacht showcase meticulous attention to detail, with marble and onyx selected for both their aesthetic appeal and durability.
The cabins are stunningly styled, featuring velvet walls and ceilings that create a cozy atmosphere. In one suite, floor-to-ceiling windows are adorned with sweeping drapes for a touch of classical elegance, complemented by luxurious ottomans and exquisite velvet furnishings. Various staterooms embrace different color palettes, from blues and turquoise to ambers and bronzes, each adorned with lavish velvet accents.
Bathrooms boast intricately patterned marble walls, enhanced by thoughtful lighting to highlight their features.
One salon stands out with its psychedelic design, featuring green tones in a natural pattern on walls and ceilings. Swirled green marble floors contrast with black lacquered seats topped with leather, while expansive mirrors create depth and reflection. An illuminated green onyx bar area separates the seating and dining areas, with unique art deco-style lighting over the black marble dining table adding a touch of sophistication.
