- Tender garage with track system
- Foredeck plunge pool and sunbeds
- 1,600-mile range at 10 knots
- Owner's cabin with side access
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.6m beam and a 1.93m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 130 GT (Gross Tonnes).
She was completed at Sanlorenzo's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners.
Exterior Design
At the stern, a tender garage is cleverly integrated beneath the aft deck. The hatch lifts to reveal space for a tender approximately 4m to 5m (13.1ft to 16.4ft) in length, which is launched and retrieved via tracks.
The cockpit is expansive, shaded by a large overhang for relaxed outdoor living. Moving up, the aft section of the upper deck features a bar complete with refrigeration, storage, and an ice maker, with sun loungers set out to maximise the view over the water. A bimini provides shade overhead, and there is stair access back down to the main cockpit.
On the foredeck, a plunge pool is paired with generous sunbathing areas, making it an inviting retreat. Additional forward seating is tucked into the bow for a quieter, more sheltered spot to relax. Overhead, the radar arch carries satellite domes, antennas, and navigational equipment including Starlink connectivity.
Walkaround decks lead comfortably from bow to stern, with high bulwarks giving a secure, enclosed feel underway or at anchor. The yacht’s layout ensures every inch of exterior space is put to practical and aesthetic use.
Interior Design
Stepping inside, Poboy offers a fresh, contemporary aesthetic rooted firmly in Italian styling. Pale wood finishes, minimalistic design cues, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows create a light, airy atmosphere throughout the main deck.
The saloon is configured for laid-back lounging, with a low-slung seating arrangement positioned to enjoy the views. A discreet bar area includes refrigeration and an ice maker, while a rise-and-fall TV is integrated into the cabinetry. Storage is cleverly placed throughout, with beautifully secured stemware and crockery ensuring nothing shifts while underway.
The galley is located adjacent to the saloon, fully fitted with professional-grade appliances, including a Miele dishwasher, wine cooler, ice maker, and extensive refrigeration. Above the hob, a powerful extractor fan manages ventilation. A separate entrance provides crew access directly onto the side decks.
Instead of a formal dining room on the main deck, the owner has opted to locate dining facilities on the upper deck. This dedicated dining area benefits from large sliding doors on both sides, inviting natural ventilation and offering a versatile space equally suited to entertaining or quiet family meals. A television mounted on the wall allows this space to double as an informal lounge if desired.
Forward of the upper deck dining space lies the bridge, fitted with a full suite of Garmin navigation equipment. Multiple multifunction displays monitor fresh water, black water, and fuel tank levels, along with power systems, bilge status, and lighting controls. Practical features such as a lift-up leaning post, a side-access door, and a dedicated navigation desk enhance functionality.
Accommodation
Poboy offers accommodation for up to eight guests across four staterooms, with separate quarters for up to five crew, ensuring privacy and excellent service levels. The owner's suite is located forward on the main deck. This spacious, light-filled cabin includes a large bed, built-in wardrobes, a dressing table, and a hidden television set behind a mirror. There is also direct access to the side deck. The ensuite bathroom is fitted with elegant marble surfaces, pocket doors for privacy, and a separate frosted-glass toilet compartment - combining functionality with understated luxury.
The lower deck is accessed via a central stairwell and opens onto a lobby leading to three large guest cabins. At the bow, the VIP suite mirrors the style and quality of the owner's space, featuring a walk-in wardrobe, dressing table, hidden TV, and private ensuite.
Two further guest cabins, both configured as doubles, sit aft of the VIP. Each offers a generous sleeping area, with storage, televisions hidden behind mirrors, and private ensuite bathrooms fitted with pocket doors and frosted-glass WC compartments. A linen storage area is neatly incorporated into the passageway for additional convenience.
Crew accommodation is particularly generous for a yacht under 30.5m (100ft), supporting extended cruising. The crew quarters are accessed via a discrete passage, comprising a mess area, full laundry facilities, and three cabins. The captain’s cabin features a double berth, Garmin screen for monitoring vessel systems, and an ensuite bathroom. Two additional cabins each provide twin bunks with ensuite facilities, offering excellent comfort for longer stays aboard.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C18) 1,150hp engines, motor yacht Poboy is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
