Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 10m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,055 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Silver Edge will be a continuation of SilverYachts' commitment to efficient, high-performance vessels. Drawing on the streamlined profile of the acclaimed Silver Fast, Silver Edge will present a slender silhouette with a military influence, courtesy of renowned superyacht designer Espen Øino.
While maintaining a sleek 79.5-meter length, the yacht will boast a practical 10-meter beam and a shallow draft of just 2.8 meters, enhancing its capability to navigate a range of water depths and environments. The yacht's aluminum construction will not only contribute to its reduced weight but also to its agility at sea.
Onboard, Silver Edge will feature multiple outdoor areas designed for both relaxation and entertainment. The main deck aft will be appointed with a five-meter-long glass-bottomed swimming pool and sun lounge area, easily accessible via twin staircases leading from a generously sized swim platform. The sun deck above will offer an additional dipping pool, while a third exterior deck can be accessed directly from the owner's quarters for enhanced privacy.
For the tender and water sports enthusiasts, Silver Edge will accommodate a seven-meter tender within a forward tender garage, with additional storage for Jet Skis and wave runners. A four-meter certified rescue boat will be neatly housed in the foredeck hatch, ensuring practicality and safety are well considered.
Interior Design
The interior design of Silver Edge will present two distinct visions, both of which will exemplify sophistication without ostentation.
The 'White Sand' design will embrace a palette of sandy wood tones, rough stone textures, and the subtle sheen of natural antique bronze. This design will prioritize a communal atmosphere with a central lounge that will foster sociability while retaining an element of privacy, as a built-in sofa will discreetly separate the dining area from the salon.
The 'Midnight' interior, on the other hand, will offer a striking contrast with its use of globally sourced refined materials. This design variant will balance the yacht’s open communal spaces with private, intimate retreats. Notable features will include a television lounge for entertainment and a bronze and glass wall that will provide a visual connection between the formal lounge and an informal cinema space.
Both design options for Silver Edge will ensure that guests are surrounded by high-quality finishes and a thoughtful layout conducive to both relaxation and entertainment. The interior spaces will be crafted to cater to diverse preferences, whether one seeks a serene gathering space or a more private, contemplative enclave.
Accommodation
Silver Edge will be designed to comfortably host up to 18 guests within its sleek aluminium hull. Accommodations will be divided among a generously proportioned 95-square-meter owner's cabin and three VIP staterooms located on the main deck. These VIP staterooms will provide an elevated level of comfort and privacy for guests, ensuring a serene and personal space during their time aboard.
The lower deck will house the remaining guest cabins, which will be crafted to match the high standards set throughout the vessel.
Crew quarters will have the capacity to accommodate a total of 17 crew members. Their living spaces will be designed to ensure that the crew can maintain the highest levels of service while also enjoying their own areas for rest and relaxation.
Performance & Capabilities
Silver Edge will be powered by twin MTU 12V 4000M93L engines. These engines are renowned for their reliability and power, enabling the yacht to glide through the water with precision and strength.
