Delivered in 2023, Silver Star I is a 181'5" motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Admiral Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Admiral Yachts, while Giorgio Armani S.p.A. is responsible for her interior design.

Key Features

  • Sundeck with integrated bar and hot tub
  • Bridge deck helipad and tender garage
  • Owner's cabin on main deck
  • Interior design features luxury materials

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 28'3" beam and a 7'7" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 2020 with the keel laid under the project name 'Silver Star'. This was the second yacht built on the Admiral S-Force 55 design. Launched in April 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2023.

Exterior Design

A standout feature on the sundeck is the hot tub, which includes inset bar stools and marble tops. The design also incorporates a gap around the edge of the hard top, allowing natural light to filter in.

Moving to the foredeck, the area serves dual purposes. It is set up as a lounging space with sunbathing areas and shade, but it also functions as a touch-and-go helicopter landing pad. The circular deck design extends out from the hull, creating two permanent balconies and housing the tender garage underneath. This practical layout allows for efficient storage of jet skis and tenders, freeing up space for a beach club and crew cabins.

The main deck cockpit offers a relaxed lounging area with a mix of sofas and sunpads, all under a large overhang that provides ample shade. The aft deck beach club is designed with a long platform and benches at water level, offering a comfortable space to enjoy the view. The teak running up the transom adds a cohesive design element that ties the exterior spaces together.

Interior Design

The materials used throughout Silver Star include Tamo wood, Ivory onyx, Bluette rosewood marble, and printed silk produced in Venice. The silk wall paneling and blue silk paneling on the central staircase are notable for their craftsmanship and thematic coherence, reminiscent of the sea.

The main deck features automatic curved doors leading to a round dining table, which enhances the sociable atmosphere. The furniture, paneling, and fixtures are all sourced from Giorgio Armani, ensuring a consistent style. The salon is equipped with L-shaped sofas and a television mounted discreetly into the bulkhead. The galley is positioned portside from the salon, designed mainly for crew use but connected seamlessly to the crew accommodation. A feature staircase with smoked glass links all decks, contributing to the yacht’s cohesive design.

The bridge deck includes sliding doors and a bar with backlighting, which creates a striking visual effect at night. The bar area features drinks bottles arranged at head height, a cigar humidor, and a champagne fridge. The silk wall paneling continues throughout this deck, along with a day head and the central staircase adorned with blue silk paneling.

The bridge area is functional yet stylish, featuring a small steering wheel with the Armani logo. The skipper’s screens provide all necessary information for efficient yacht operation.

Accommodation

Silver Star has a total of six cabins, including an owner's suite and five guest cabins. The owner’s cabin is situated on the main deck, providing expansive views through large windows on both sides. It features a study area that can be partitioned off for privacy. The cabin is adorned with Armani's signature style, including a Japanese-style print bed head and detailed wardrobe panels. The en-suite bathroom is finished in Ivory Onyx marble and includes twin sinks, a separate shower, and a toilet cubicle.

On the lower deck, Silver Star accommodates guests in five additional cabins. This includes a VIP stateroom that rivals owner suites on many yachts, offering substantial floor space, a desk, and a feature wall of backlit marble. The VIP cabin also includes a large walk-in wardrobe and a private bathroom finished with blue marble.

Two identical double cabins are forward on the lower deck. Each features a double bed, television, and private ensuite bathrooms showcasing blue marble. The silk paneling in these cabins also cleverly disguises storage spaces. Additionally, there are two twin cabins on this deck. These cabins are designed with similar attention to detail, including private AV systems and ensuite bathrooms.

Silver Star provides accommodation for a crew of up to 11 members. The crew quarters are designed with easy access to essential areas such as the galley and the bridge.
