Delivered in 2018, L'Oursin is a 163'5" motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Heesen. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Omega Architects, while her interiors are the work of Francesco Paszkowski Design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 27'11" beam and a 8'3" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2015 with the keel laid under the project name 'Alba'. Launched in November 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in February 2018.
Accommodation
L'Oursin offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M73L) 3,860hp engines, motor yacht L'Oursin is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 18,175 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,100 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. L'Oursin also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
