  • Touch and go helipad
  • Sophisticated beach club
  • Spa and wellness facilities

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 11.3m beam and a 3.1m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 961 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Construction started in late 2010 with the keel laid under the project name 'Omnia'. This was the first yacht built on the 6500 Aluminium design. Launched in March 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2013.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Illusion offers practical and inviting spaces. At the stern, a large bathing platform provides easy access to the water. Adjacent to this area, the beach club is equipped with a bar and seating, ideal for relaxation. The aft deck pool has a glass base that allows light to filter through, creating patterns on the deck below.

Forward of the beach club, you will find a sauna, day head, and access to the engine room. The main deck aft includes a spacious pool partially shaded by the superstructure. This area is designed for socializing, with ample seating and an entertainment space.

The bridge deck features a seating and table area that can transform into a dance floor or serve as a touch-and-go helipad. The upper aft deck is designated for outdoor dining. The sun deck includes a spa pool, bar, and dining area located amidships, with additional seating and sunning spots forward.

Both the hull and superstructure are finished in white, while the boot top is highlighted in light grey. The bow of Illusion is raked, contributing to its sleek profile and enhancing its performance in various sea conditions. The deck is made of teak, offering a classic appearance and a non-slip surface for safety.

Interior Design

The interior design of Illusion is characterized by a consistent and unified aesthetic, conceptualized by the Bannenberg & Rowell studio. The design does not vary from space to space but maintains a coherent theme throughout the yacht's interior. The key materials used include brushed spruce, Macassar ebony, polished stainless steel, nickel, rippled sycamore for the doors, and Texalium, a type of silver carbon fiber. These materials contribute to a streamlined and cohesive environment.

The main salon area is thoughtfully arranged around the engine room ducting. This space is divided into three distinct sections: the formal dining area at the front, a comfortable seating area at the rear leading to the aft deck, and a club area in between. The club area features a bar on the port side and armchairs in front of a working fireplace on the starboard side.

The beach club is another highlight of the interior, offering a spacious area for relaxation. It is complemented by a bar to starboard and a seating area that can be used for watching films or enjoying the yacht's sound system.

Accommodation

llusion offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites.  The Master Suite is situated forward, featuring a full-beam bathroom, an office area, and spacious dressing rooms. This suite provides ample space and convenience for the owner.

Accommodating additional guests, Illusion includes four guest cabins located on the lower deck. The layout comprises two aft double cabins with forward-facing sofa seating areas and two forward double cabins, maintaining generous space despite the structural constraints of the hull form.

She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
