The 52.6m motor yacht Virtus XP/ 02 is being constructed by Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay and is due to be delivered in 2026. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of VYD Studio, while Van Oossanen Naval Architects is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.48m beam and a 2.6m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the second yacht built on the Virtus XP design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Virtus XP/02 has a focus on both exploration and luxury cruising. Its ice class 1D capability allows the yacht to navigate icy waters with confidence, extending the range of potential destinations.
A defining feature is the integrated helipad at the Owner’s Deck level, providing direct access to the owner’s suite and is great for logistical convenience and embarking/disembarking. The yacht's foredeck includes a 98 m² (1,052 sq ft) pool deck, directly accessible from the owner’s suite. The aft houses a beach club, offering extensive deck space for relaxation close to the water.
The yacht's exterior lines are clean and practical with the helideck appearing to almost float above the pool deck, reflecting its explorer capabilities. The bridge deck includes the command center and a spacious outdoor lounge, suitable for both relaxation and social gatherings. The sundeck serves as a panoramic observation area, ideal for taking in diverse landscapes.
Interior Design
The interior design of the Virtus XP/02 is characterized by a refined, minimalist aesthetic. The color palette predominantly features beiges, whites, and golds, providing a clean and modern backdrop. Textured accent walls add depth to the spaces, while chevron-patterned smoked wood flooring introduces a subtle pattern that ties the design together.
The main salon on the main deck is a spacious area designed for relaxation and socializing. Large windows flood the room with natural light, allowing for a seamless connection with the surrounding environment. The layout encourages easy movement and interaction, while the decor maintains a sense of simplicity and elegance.
The convertible lounge on the upper deck offers flexibility, serving as a private retreat or a shared space for guests. This area is designed to adapt to different needs, whether for quiet contemplation or social gatherings.
Accommodation
The Virtus XP/02 can host 10 guests in its five well-appointed staterooms and suites. The owner’s suite resides on the upper deck, providing a private space with a foredeck pool for exclusive use. This suite offers direct access from the helideck, ensuring maximum convenience for the owner.
The main deck is home to the VIP staterooms, each providing exceptional sea views. These staterooms are designed to deliver comfort and privacy, allowing guests to enjoy their voyage in peace.
On the lower deck, there are two additional guest staterooms. The first is a convertible space that can be arranged in either double or twin format, offering flexibility to accommodate different guest preferences. The second stateroom is equipped with twin beds and a pullman, providing additional sleeping arrangements if needed.
Crew accommodations are located on the lower deck, accommodating nine.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel-electric Caterpillar (C32) 12-cylinder 1,450hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Virtus XP/ 02 is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 65,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,100 nautical miles.
