Arcadia announces construction of restyled A115 for 2021 launch

Arcadia Yachts has announced the on-spec construction of a fifth 34.99m Arcadia A115, scheduled for a 2021 launch.

Designed in collaboration with Hot Lab for both the interiors and exteriors, the fifth hull in Arcadia's A115 series looks to provide owners and their guests with a 7-star experience.

Created to make the most of both personal and commercial uses, the latest A115 is reportedly set to mainly hold freestanding elements so owners can tailor their motor yacht any way they see fit at the time.

Maintaining the same concepts from the previous Arcadia A115 models of being lightweight and having abundant natural light, the general aesthetics emphasize the voluminous capacity of the yacht and enhance the feeling of space within the various rooms and cabins.

With relaxation and indulgence at the heart of the renovated design for the latest Arcadia yacht for sale, the upper deck speaks volumes, with an area of 140sqm inspired by jardin d’hiver.

Connections to the exterior natural world are provided with extensive windows around the superstructure.

In the jardin d’hiver we worked so that the transparency clearly perceived when viewing the A115 from outside can be experienced inside as well. We achieved this with low furniture items concentrated inside the volume, away from the uprights and the large window.

In addition to the vast expanse of glazing surrounding the superstructure on both the main and upper deck, the designers from Hot Lab have also worked on using solutions which do not disturb views of the great outdoors.

Innovative solutions such as using low down furniture, retractable devices and hanging solutions, the overall aim to create space and merge the exterior and interior environments looks to have been achieved with the inclusion of arches rather than doors.

Arches matching the main one have been included on the decks, to bring to mind the exterior line when standing inside. I am referring in particular to the lobbies and stairs, which are very important areas to valorise on the A115.

In addition to the 500sqm of living space over the three decks, a composition of five cabins for up to 10 guests are also reported to be on board, including four double cabins on the lower deck.

The master cabin is to be situated on the main deck in the bow, covering an expanse of 40 sqm for absolute privacy.
