Flagship debut amongst Zeelander FLIBS 2019 lineup

Dutch shipyard Zeelander have announced their full lineup for the upcoming edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Comprising of a display of three vessels, the shipyard will be hosting the show debut of the Z72 flagship. Capable of top speeds of 40 knots, the all new flagship will be showcased to allow the US audience a close encounter with the stunning new design.

Running between October 30th and November 3rd 2019, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) will witness the display of the entire product range available from Zeelander.

With each vessel displaying the associated commuter style for the brand, the motor yachts display the inept building capabilities of the yard and present an ideal opportunity for yachting enthusiasts to see an entire collection altogether at the same time.

Proudly hosting Volvo Penta IPS technologies, the striking blue hulls of the Zeelander collection are appealing vessels for American owners who want premium performance and an enjoyable all round experience on the waves.

We believe true yacht building is a form of art: Whilst keeping true to the iconic shape, the Zeelander design continues to evolve. Every boat we build is meant to be a legendary icon, an evolution of timeless design is what we envision.

The first vessel on the trio of appearances is the Z44. With idyllic proportions and a smooth ride, the Z44 is an ideal commuter's vessel and is built with a high bow offering a bulwark for combating waves in larger expanses of water. Double chines are also part of the structure, aiding in the deflection of oncoming waves.

For yachting enthusiasts who love a fast model, the Z55 is an ideal vessel which offers speed and comfort all in one. Full of innovative solutions, the Z55 features a seamless main deck which is not only good for safety, but also for unhampered socialising throughout the duration of any journey onboard. The main deck comprises of a wheelhouse, cockpit, bar and galley, plus an external seating area aft. With all amenities situated together the main deck effectively becomes the entertainment deck with more space made available below deck for overnight comfort.

Owners of Zeelander Yachts know what they like. When they share their ideas with us, we know that no one has a better sense of how the boats are used. That conversation has helped lead our designs into the future.

Star of the display, the show debut of the Z72 is a highlight for the brand and will impress visitors with the enormous unfolding swim platform.

Powered by three 1,000-horsepower IPS 1350s, the vessel has been dubbed Rolls Royce of the Seas and features an iconic design collaboration with known designer Cor D. Rover. The eyecatching curved hull has a distinctive look which also houses the curved fold down swim platform which extends the exterior socialising area aft of the main deck.

Interiors of the Z72 are worked alongside requirements of owners and have an abundance of natural light thanks to the vast expanse of windows plus a sunroof in the coachroof. An interior dining option is catered to by a U shaped galley, which is positioned to cater to the cockpit and spectators as well. Towards the aft, guests can relax in an area of exterior seating with shelter from extended house sides.

Down on the lower deck the Z72 features a three stateroom layout. The master stateroom is located forward and make the most of the curved hull with an enlarged volume and headspace.
