With just weeks remaining until the unveiling of the first Zeelander 8, the highly anticipated flagship of the Dutch builder, final preparations are underway at the Groot Ammers shipyard in the Netherlands.
The advanced molding process employed by Zeelander has minimized the need for fairing, ensuring a trouble-free transition through the paint booth for the hull. Adorned in Porsche rhodium silver with striking orange and flag blue accents along the waterline, the Zeelander 8 boasts a flawless finish across its 24m (79ft) frame.
The sleek superstructure, finished in pearl white, sets the stage for a spectacular social space on the main deck, complete with a custom salon for relaxation and dining with friends and family.
Commanding views from the helm, enhanced by a mullion-free windscreen and luxurious hand-stitched leather seating, further elevate the onboard experience. As the hull and deck are joined, Zeelander’s attention turns to interior outfitting.
Once construction and outfitting are complete, the Zeelander 8 will embark on its inaugural journey to the French Riviera.
“Born of a loyal client’s desire for a bigger yacht, the Zeelander 8 succeeds in perpetuating the famous Zeelander aesthetic while hugely increasing interior volumes. And all that without compromising performance. This yacht will be able to reach 40 knots across the Golfe de la Napoule, while our obsessive use of advanced soundproofing means that you will always be able to hold a normal conversation – even at full throttle.”
