Golden Yachts' MALIA Takes Top Spot as Best in Motor 1,500+ GT at 2024 ISS Awards

Striking, contemporary exteriors combine with beautifully appointed living spaces designed by Studio Vafiadis, resulting in the superyacht MALIA being awarded Best in Motor 1,500+ GT at the 2024 ISS Awards.

Full-custom superyacht MALIA, crafted by Golden Yachts, has been honored with the Best in Motor 1500+ GT award at the 2024 International Superyacht Society (ISS) Design & Leadership Awards Gala.

Built under the project name ANDROMEDA, the motor yacht was delivered to its owners in June 2023, sporting a sleek design accentuated by a tri-deck axe bow, and striking trapezium-shaped windows. Spanning four decks and boasting a 43.4ft beam, the superyacht offers an impressive internal volume of 2,165 GT, promising ample space and luxurious amenities.

Her upper deck features sports car-inspired windbreakers and a skylight, which bathes the pool area in natural light. The versatile veranda deck is perfect for entertainment, offering an outdoor cinema, sun shades, and a party-ready atmosphere, complete with air conditioning and a flush deck design.

The yacht's interiors are a marvel of modern design, highlighted by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offer uninterrupted views. A majestic staircase connects all levels, adorned with a custom Lasvit crystal chandelier. A curated collection of contemporary art further enhances the onboard ambiance. Lighting also plays a crucial role, with discreet LED installations enhancing aesthetics and functionality.

The main salon is perfect for relaxing with friends and family, featuring a luxurious bronze overhead design and plush seating. The veranda deck provides exceptional versatility, transforming into a lounge, gym, or reception area for onboard events.

Guests can enjoy two glass-bottomed pools, a sundeck gym, and a spa, as well as a sea-level beach club with a Finnish sauna and Turkish hammam. Furthermore, a helipad on the bow ensures seamless transfers, completing the luxurious experience aboard this award-winning superyacht.

The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests across eight luxurious suites, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a private office and marble-accented surfaces.

MALIA is powered by twin Caterpillar engines, reaching a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, with a range of 4,872 nautical miles.
