Heesen begin building 55m Steel superyacht Project Gemini

The Dutch shipyard has begun construction on the new 55m Project Gemini, the latest addition to the yard’s 55m Steel range.

Heesen has announced a first-time collaboration with Luca Dini Design & Architecture on Project Gemini, the sixth yacht in its 55m Steel range, and the only 55m yacht available in The Netherlands at present.

The Italian based design firm have matched tay wood, decorated glass and natural stones with leather wall panels and fabric lined ceilings. Combined with extensive use of glass throughout in the form of floor-to-ceiling windows, the interiors are bathed in an abundance of light and afford wonderful views.

This sense of light is embodied in the main saloon where two large bronze mirrored ceiling panels reflect light around the room. A cosy lounge area is set in the center with a formal dining area for 12 adjacent.

Project Gemini also features a full-beam sky lounge. With its bar, TV, panoramic views and understated accents of metal, marble and glass it is an oasis of calm and ideal for relaxing and socializing.
