Palma Superyacht Show 2020 set to be cancelled

As the latest event to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Palma Superyacht Show 2020 edition has been cancelled.

Organised by the Institut d’Innovació Empresarial (IDI) and the Balearic Yacht Brokers’ Association (BYBA), the difficult decision has been made to cancel the upcoming edition of the Palma Superyacht Show.

Following in the footsteps of other yachting events which have also been cancelled or postponed, the officials of the associated 2020 Palma International Boat Show made the decision based on their responsibility to protect all the attendees and visitors.

Feeling unable to guarantee the safety of everyone involved, the event has subsequently been cancelled until next year.

Scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 June in Palma, discussions have already begun in planning the next edition, as well as actions to be taken to encourage maritime activity in the Balearic region in the future.

Dates for the 2021 edition of the Palma Superyacht Show are yet to be confirmed. The show is a great opportunity to browse a wide selection of new and used yachts for sale; prospective yacht buyers are advised to keep checking our site for the latest updates.
