Palumbo Superyachts expand construction threshold with new Ancona shed

Palumbo Superyachts has begun construction of a new shed at its Ancona facility, set to join the three sheds already situated at the production site.

Located at the 52,000 sqm Palumbo Superyachts Ancona facility, the new shed is planned to be 19m x 60m (62ft x 196.8ft) and is primarily aiming for completion in September 2023.

With order books from the group reporting a value of more than €500 million, YachtBuyer Intelligence confirms there are 18 hulls currently in construction across the Palumbo Superyacht brands (Extra Yachts, Colombus and ISA Yachts), with several contracts signed within the last six months.

With the extra shed now on its way, the Palumbo Superyachts group looks to increase its production rates for the deliveries currently scheduled all the way to 2026.

With the construction of the new shed we are optimizing all the spaces included in the current building area in order to guarantee maximum production efficiency.

In addition to the four sheds, the production site in Ancona also benefits from a specialist team who provide sales aftercare and refit services for used superyachts.

The site also benefits from a 560-ton travel lift, plus a 3300-ton superyacht lifting platform, which happens to be the largest of its kind in the Adriatic Sea to date.
