Sirena Yachts reveals hybrid variant of Sirena 48

Silent and sustainable cruising; what's not to like?

Sirena Yachts, the acclaimed Turkish yacht builder, has recently introduced the Sirena 48 Hybrid, a new variant of its highly successful entry-level model, the Sirena 48. Having made its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023, the new version will combine elegance, performance, and sustainability.

The Sirena 48 Hybrid for sale offers potential owners the chance to indulge in a greener yachting experience without sacrificing the luxury and comfort that Sirena Yachts are known for. With its hybrid powertrain, this yacht presents a forward-thinking option for those looking to make a conscious environmental choice.

The builder's latest offering retains the core design elements that have made the original Sirena 48 so appealing. Its good looks and smart use of space are evident in the generous interior volumes, which include a three-cabin layout that is as luxurious as it is practical. Furthermore, the yacht caters to the small-to-mid-sized market segment but does not compromise on the quality of the onboard experience.

One of the standout features of the new yacht is its sleek coupé styling. The open-air flybridge has been replaced by a beautifully curved coachroof fitted with glass and solar panels. This not only gives the yacht a sportier and more elegant exterior but also enhances the natural light in the saloon area, creating an inviting social space for guests.

The hardtop design is particularly well suited to the hybrid drive system, and offers a remarkable solution in terms of aesthetics while maximizing the number of solar panels. At Sirena Marine, we have been working hard to integrate a robust, meaningful hybrid option for some time. And though we are starting with our latest 48ft yacht model, we are able to implement the solution on any of the yachts in our range, which runs up to 88ft.”

The inclusion of solar panels on the coachroof contributes to the sustainable profile of the yacht, extending its operating range under electric power. The Sirena 48 Hybrid can glide through the water quietly and efficiently, thanks to its twin 213kW electric motors. With a top speed of 14 knots and the ability to cover up to 30nm in silent electric mode, the yacht provides a tranquil and emission-free experience that is highly desirable in today's eco-conscious market.

When it comes to longer voyages, the yacht's highly efficient generators step in, supplying the necessary electricity for propulsion and battery recharging with optimal performance. This system allows for quieter operation and reduced vibrations, enhancing onboard comfort.

By integrating hybrid solutions from e-Motion, Sirena Marine is bringing many new benefits to its yachts. Not only can they offer quieter and more comfortable cruising at anchor and under way we estimate that a hybrid system can reduce fuel consumption by up to 35% and cut maintenance costs by 10-15%. With less noise and fewer emissions, a hybrid SirenaYacht has a lower impact on the environment.”
