Design & Build

With the XP range, Numarine embraces steel construction for its larger vessels, granting the Turkish builder increased versatility in design and personalisation. This shift underscores the profound cruising capabilities of these yachts.

The 37XP model exudes readiness for extensive voyages, evident in its commanding, crafted bows designed to navigate open seas with ease. Supported by impressive statistics, including a claimed 6000nm range at 10-12 knots, the 37XP epitomises adventure.

In addition to its extensive range, the 37XP boasts remarkable volume, accommodating a luxurious five to seven-cabin interior. This generous space encompasses a sprawling main salon and an upper deck that offers versatile options, ranging from a private owner's retreat to a spacious sky lounge.

Interior Accommodation

Describing the abundance of space aboard the 37XP is a challenge in itself. Spanning two decks, the combination of ample floor space and generous headroom creates an expansive interior. The finishing touches are left to the owner's discretion, requiring careful consideration and finesse to avoid an overly stark ambiance.

On the upper deck, buyers have a variety of layout options. It can function as a traditional lounge area or be transformed into a dedicated owner's deck, as showcased by our seven-cabin test model. The stateroom and its ensuite are separated by a wall of closets, while the companionway leading forward to the bridge boasts ample storage space.

Space Ship

The main salon is truly immense, featuring expansive glass panels and offering flexibility in furniture arrangement to suit your preferences.

Progressing forward, in the five or six-cabin configuration, what would typically serve as the main deck owner's suite transforms into one of two VIP suites. This forward suite, reminiscent of owner-level accommodations, boasts sizable hull side windows, a well-appointed ensuite, and a designated study area.

Adjacent to the cabin entrance, ample space is allocated for a gym, with hull-side glass providing gym enthusiasts with captivating views during their workout sessions.

Below decks, five additional cabins comprise a generously proportioned amidships VIP suite, two twin cabins, and two double guest cabins. An alternative layout option involves combining the two starboard cabins into a single VIP suite, resulting in a four-cabin arrangement below deck, as depicted in the layouts section below.

Notably, it's not only the guests who benefit from this ample space; the crew quarters forward are notably spacious, featuring three cabins, five berths, and a mess area. Additionally, the separate captain's cabin is situated aft of the bridge.

Helm Station

The primary helm station is located on the upper deck, featuring a separate bridge that offers a commanding vantage point and ample space for multiple helm seats and guest seating.

In the test yacht, the console boasted three large multifunction displays (MFDs) and an entire wall dedicated to the vessel's systems and ancillary controls. While the top deck exudes the ambiance of a sundeck, a discreet flybridge helm forward adds a touch of convenience for day cruising.

Deck Lifestyle

The top deck epitomizes the essence of this yacht, offering a vast expanse of deck space that can be customized to match the owner's preferences. While this particular 37XP included a flybridge helm, the primary focus here is on leisure, with amenities such as a Jacuzzi, lounge seating, and a small hardtop covering the dining area. Given the generous space available, this deck could effortlessly accommodate a full bar and barbecue kitchen.

On the level below, the upper deck aft unfolds like a teak runway, offering ample space for a tender and PWC, with additional room for fixed or freestanding furniture, or even a makeshift basketball court. Wide raised side decks extend forward to another lounge area, nestled within deep bulwarks, providing a sense of safety and security whether the yacht is underway or docked.

The main deck transitions from a spacious and inviting aft lounge to relatively compact working decks on each side. Towards the stern, a generously sized garage area offers versatility, capable of being outfitted as a mini beach club or a dive center.

The transom door folds out to create a broad and deep terrace. In the case of the test yacht, a steam room was added to enhance the beach-club ambiance. Regardless of its intended use, the stern area also provides convenient access to the engine bay.

Rivals to Consider

The tri-deck Numarine’s size and scale are mightily impressive, feeling more than its 37m length and imbuing both the yacht and those onboard with a sense of fearless opportunity. Its quoted 499GT is exceptional for a yacht of 37m, delivering the kind of volume normally seen in a 45-50m yacht.

A big rival, in every sense of the word, the explorer-style Benetti B.Yond 37 offers a unique layout care of a four-deck design. All the sleeping accommodation is on the main deck, with five suites enjoying a raised position and great views. The main deck aft has a tender and toy centre with a drop-down bulwark for launch & recovery. This leaves the lower deck free for a massive crew area, dive centre, open galley with a lounge for crew or guests to see the culinary magic happen. The upper deck is one vast social and dining space, with a bridge deck and sun deck above that. The overall design places a great deal of emphasis on practical, hard-working but also highly luxurious deck space, a fact that is reflected in the B.Yond’s lower (but still high for 37m) 395GT.

By way of a more usual comparison, the tri-deck Custom Line Navetta 37 is 289GT. It has a similar layout to the 37XP, without the Numarine’s optional Upper Owner’s cabin, although the semi-custom nature of this market means the builder will always try and accommodate. The main deck has a lounge and dining area, leading to the Owner’s stateroom, with four guest cabins and the crew area below decks. The upper deck lounge leads out to a deck perfect for dining, with a sundeck above.

The Ocean Alexander 35R shares that same aggressive SUV style and tri-deck layout with an upper bridge deck and lounge, sundeck above and massive main deck with a forward Owner’s stateroom, four big guest cabins and crew quarters lying below decks. The 35R deck layout is near identical to the Numarine including a similar mini beach club at the stern.

Numarine 37 XP Layout

  • Flybridge Numarine 37 XP

Arguably the most straightforward deck in terms of conventional design, the flybridge feels more like a sundeck and can be laid out with any number of seating, lounge and sunbathing options. The test boat had a small hardtop, leaving the mid and aft deck open but with optional canvas shades.

  • Upper Deck Numarine 37 XP

A massive aft deck leads to either an Owner’s stateroom or lounge, depending on your chosen layout. The bridge comes with a separate Captain's cabin. The test boat came with a 1200kg capacity crane for tender launch and recovery.

  • Main Deck Numarine 37 XP

Not so much a salon as a luxury aircraft hangar ready for you to fill with the seating and furnishings of your choice. The galley area acts as the crew access point with direct access to the quarters below or out on deck. The forward cabin makes a great Owner’s or VIP suite depending on the upper deck layout.

  • Lower Deck Numarine 37 XP

The 'standard' layout shows four ensuite cabins, but Numarines' semi-custom attitude means that three, five or even six cabins are possible below decks. The test boat’s five-cabin layout included a massive full-beam VIP (s above) plus two twin and two double cabins in place of the starboard VIP. The crew quarters in the bow is impressively big and includes a good mess area.
