On Deck

On deck, there are large side decks leading to a secluded sunbathing area at the bow.

There is a large lounge/bar area in the cockpit aft. Below here is a bathing platform with access to the crew area/engine room.

On the main deck, the living space and dining area are both highlighted. The boat has typical Numarine angular shapes and a pop-up TV. The wheelhouse, located unusually far forward, provides a long main deck. The helm, equipped with the usual steering, screens, and camera systems, is also situated here. Nick particularly appreciates the ample cold storage in the galley, ideal for long-distance voyages.

Descending to the lower deck, there is a four-cabin layout. The size of the master cabin is impressive, as it spans the full beam of the yacht and boasts a high ceiling that creates a spacious feel. The master cabin also contains a walk-in dressing area, a desk or dressing table, and an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower. The three other cabins consist of another double, one with twin singles, and a large VIP guest cabin, all of which have ensuites. Of particular note is the offset bed in the VIP guest cabin, which gives the room a square feel despite being at the "pointy end of the boat".

There are two crew cabins, one with bunks, and ensuites on the Numarine 26 XP.  They are accessed via the bathing platform through a corridor that also leads to the laundry facilities and engine space.

The engine room houses a pair of MAN 800 engines designed for displacement cruising. The boat can reach a top speed of about 12 knots, but cruising at 10 knots provides a 3,000-mile range. Nick appreciates this design as it is efficient and capable of long journeys. The engine room also contains a water maker, allowing for autonomy in fresh water production.

Nick wraps up his tour by expressing his satisfaction with the Numarine 26 XP. He seems very pleased with the yacht's design and capabilities.
