Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.2m beam and a 3.1m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 950 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in May 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2015.

Exterior Design

Embarking on Atlante reveals a vessel that challenges convention and embraces innovation. Her striking metallic grey hull and superstructure, coated in matte jet black, defy the typical curved lines of maritime design, asserting a bold, authoritative presence on the water. The yacht's aesthetic, described by her owner as "very square, very military, very camouflage," evokes a sense of strength and stability.

Atlante's design integrates a striking 200 square meters of glass windows, creating an imposing façade that not only captivates but also invites natural light to play throughout the interior spaces. This extensive use of glass is a testament to the yacht's modernity and her defiance of traditional nautical norms.

The innovation continues with the yacht's transformative tender garage. This elegant space, easily mistaken for a luxurious panoramic loggia, houses two nine-meter custom-designed tenders that mirror Atlante's distinctive character. When the tenders are deployed, the garage doors open, creating a vast, open-air entertainment venue that seamlessly blends with the sea and sky, epitomizing the yacht's versatile design.

Ascending to Atlante's bridge deck, one finds a layout that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The deckhouse, with its subtle curvature that belies its angular appearance, houses a cleverly concealed helipad atop a garage for additional toys and mooring equipment. This multifaceted approach to design ensures that every inch of Atlante serves a purpose while maintaining a sleek and uncluttered profile.

The exterior saloon on the bridge deck offers an inviting space for relaxation, with adaptable table arrangements that cater to any social scenario. The sundeck above is the pinnacle of luxury outdoor living; it boasts a magnificent 6,000-litre spa pool, complete with a waterfall feature, offering a tranquil retreat surrounded by expansive sun pads and dining areas.

The artful combination of luxurious materials, expansive spaces, and the owner's vision for a non-traditional layout culminate in an environment that is both intimate and grandiose. Guests aboard Atlante are assured of an exclusive retreat, where every detail is aligned with comfort, privacy, and the luxury of bespoke craftsmanship.

Interior Design

The interior design is undeniably masculine, with an intimate ambiance achieved through the use of dark tones and sharp contrasts. This concept was developed independently of the yacht's exterior, ensuring that the interior stands as its own distinct entity while still maintaining a harmonious connection with the vessel's angular design.

Gilles & Boissier selected a palette of raw, noble woods such as smoked oak, spruce, and gum tree, which are complemented by an extensive and somewhat unconventional use of marble on the interior walls. The choice and application of materials evoke a sense of understated luxury that is both tactile and visually impactful.

The opulence of Atlante's interior is not solely defined by its materials but also by the generous open spaces that greet guests. The high ceilings and broad corridors amplify the yacht's sense of grandeur. This generosity of space allows for a serene and comfortable environment, despite the darker surfaces and fabric choices that contribute to the yacht's overall aesthetic.

Instead of a vast, seldom-used formal dining room, Atlante features a multifunctional area with a sliding table that can be adjusted to suit various occasions, accommodating intimate dinners or larger gatherings with equal ease.

This unconventional approach extends to the pilothouse, which doubles as a sociable area, allowing guests to revel in the journey from a panoramic banquette.

Accommodation

The yacht's accommodation layout is thoughtfully arranged to host up to 12 guests within its six beautifully appointed cabins. These include a magnificent master suite that boasts a generous ceiling height of over 2.22 meters. The expansive use of dark marble, smoked oak, spruce, and gum tree woods throughout the suite adds to the opulence, making it a private haven where guests can unwind in unparalleled elegance.

Complementing the master suite are five additional guest cabins, each designed with the same attention to detail and luxurious materials. The cabins are designed to be both comfortable and functional, offering guests a serene space to relax after a day of maritime activities. The refined interior decor by Gilles & Boissier, featuring a bold and masculine touch, extends to these cabins as well, with custom furniture and stainless steel details that harmonize beautifully with Atlante’s angular exterior.

For the crew, Atlante provides well-appointed accommodation that ensures the highest levels of service and efficiency. The quarters are designed to offer comfort and privacy for up to 13 crew, allowing the dedicated team to maintain the yacht to the highest standards and provide impeccable service to guests. The captain, for instance, enjoys a large cabin on the lower deck, which deviates from the traditional placement on the bridge deck, showcasing the yacht's unique approach to space utilization.

Performance & Capabilities

Motor yacht Atlante is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots.

Atlante is a reflection of the owner's distinct taste and a bold departure from yachting norms. It is an environment crafted not just for living but for experiencing—a space where every detail is a deliberate choice, and where the essence of luxury is the freedom to express one's individuality without compromise.
