The multi-award winning 196'10" motor yacht Caipirinha was delivered to her owners in 2009 by German shipyard Lurssen. She features exterior design by Espen Oeino and interior styling by Mark Berryman Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 37'6" beam and a 11'6" draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 1,182 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2007 with the keel laid under the project name 'Katie Sue I'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in May 2009 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2009.
Exterior Design
Caipirinha features an Espen Oeino exterior design with multiple areas for dining and lounging across three exterior decks. The yacht has a large swim platform located aft of a spacious tender garage, with tender storage available on both the port and starboard sides.
The main deck aft includes a bar and an oversized settee, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. The sun deck offers an indoor/outdoor lounge area equipped with a bar, providing panoramic views. An alfresco dining area for 12 is located aft of the sun deck lounge, while the forward section includes an oversized jacuzzi and sunbeds.
Aesthetically, Caipirinha features a grey hull that complements the white superstructure, creating a visually appealing contrast. The boot top is colored red, adding a distinctive touch, and the area below the waterline is painted black, which is practical for maintenance and concealment of marine growth. The raked bow design contributes to improved hydrodynamics, enhancing fuel efficiency and navigation.
Interior Design
The interior design of Caipirinha features warm woods and contemporary finishes, creating a comfortable and inviting environment. Caipirinha's voluminous 1,182GT interior is enhanced by oversized windows that allow for an abundance of natural light. Each guest cabin is equipped with state-of-the-art electric blinds that ensure both comfort and privacy.
The main saloon is designed for versatility, with a formal lounge area that can be converted into a cinema via a hidden screen and projector. The lounge aft of the main saloon also serves as a cinema room, adding to the yacht's entertainment options. Adjacent to this area is a formal dining space connected to a piano lounge, featuring a self-playing piano by Bösendorfer.
The sky lounge bar offers another casual gathering spot, complete with media lounge and gaming tables, providing a variety of entertainment choices for guests.
Accommodation
Caipirinha offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six suites comprising an owner's cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins, and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. The main deck is home to a full-beam owner's suite, providing a spacious and private retreat. This suite includes amenities such as a minibar and a steam bath, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay.
On the upper deck, guests will find a VIP cabin that offers an elevated level of comfort and privacy. The lower deck features four additional guest cabins, each designed to provide a restful and pleasant environment. These cabins are equipped with low-noise, state-of-the-art electric blinds that enhance comfort and privacy.
She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512 B) 1,979hp engines, motor yacht Caipirinha is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 42,268 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Caipirinha also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
