Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.1m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 460 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

On the sundeck, GO offers an open-plan layout, distinguished by free-standing teak furniture that invites informal gatherings under the sun. The presence of a hot-tub, complemented by a waterproof remote to control the entertainment system, enhances the functionality and enjoyment of this outdoor space.

The bridge deck aft serves as a private and comfortable retreat when the yacht is at anchor or moored alongside. It features a lounge-bar layout, one of several configuration options, and is accessed via a sleek stainless steel stairway that adds to the overall sophistication of the design.

The foredeck is accessible via raised side decks, which not only facilitate crew movement to the wheelhouse but also underscore the yacht’s practical design considerations. Additionally, the tender garage at the transom has been thoughtfully integrated, with the hatch folding down to create a convenient swimming platform.

Visibility from the wheelhouse is optimized through doors on each side, which is especially beneficial during close-quarters maneuvers.

GO features an elegant sundeck, inviting hot-tub, casual bar lounge, versatile guest cabins, and premium finishes for the ultimate in comfort and style.

Interior Design

The deck saloon, more private and enclosed than the upper lounge, features a central sofa that is nearly circular in shape, allowing for ample seating and an inviting social area. Large square windows frame views of the surrounding seascape, filling the space with natural light.

The dining experience on GO is enhanced by the presence of a formal dining table, capable of accommodating ten guests, which is set under the sophisticated glow of Brand van Egmond lighting fixtures. This area serves as a focal space for meals, complemented by the adjacent galley. While compact, the galley is efficient and well-equipped, with additional support from a pantry on the bridge deck, ensuring seamless preparation and service.

The bridge deck lounge bar, an informal space, offers an alternative dining setup, allowing guests to enjoy casual meals with the backdrop of the ocean. Here, the free-standing teak furniture adds a touch of informality to the otherwise polished environment.

Throughout GO, a blend of high-gloss lacquers, teak parquet, and wenge detailing demonstrates the attention to detail and commitment to quality for which Feadship is known. The dining table, finished in black-stained oak, anchors the dining area with its substantial presence. The flooring is complemented by grey limestone and black granite, adding a layer of sophistication to the bathrooms, while plush 'silver linen' carpeting from BIC covers the floors in several areas of the yacht for added comfort.

Lighting throughout the yacht has been carefully considered to create an inviting atmosphere. This includes the starry-illuminated dome in the saloon and the strategically placed lighting installations, which offer both ambiance and functionality.

The wheelhouse is designed for both comfort and efficiency, with easy-access doors on each side to enhance visibility during maneuvers. The layout is clean and focused, with navigation electronics by Imtech, Leica, and Furuno providing the necessary tools for safe and precise voyaging.

Accommodation

GO welcomes up to ten guests across five suites. The guest cabins, situated amidships on the lower deck, are designed to adapt to varying guest needs. Two full-beam suites, each featuring a double bedroom and separate sitting room, can swiftly transform into family rooms with four berths, thanks to sliding berths. Alternatively, substantial sliding bulkheads allow the reconfiguration of this space into four double cabins.

The owner's suite, located on the main deck, takes advantage of the yacht's beam with no side decks to encroach upon its impressive width. Upon entry, a study area on the starboard side leads into a spacious, open-plan sleeping cabin, where natural light fills the space around the centrally mounted king-size bed. The suite's forward bulkhead houses the bathroom, shower, and dressing room, crafted with high-quality materials including grey limestone and black granite, complementing the high-gloss lacquers, teak parquet, and wenge detailing found throughout the yacht.

The captain's quarters are conveniently positioned just aft of the wheelhouse, providing a comfortable double cabin space. The additional crew members are accommodated in three twin-bunk ensuite cabins, complete with a generously sized mess and separate laundry area, all located forward. The yacht is currently manned by a dedicated crew of seven, ensuring that every aspect of the guest experience is tended to with expertise and attentiveness.
