The 91'10" motor yacht Play the Game was delivered to her owners in 2014 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Her interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture come from the drawing boards of Sunseeker's in-house design team.
Key Features
- Huge sun deck with dining and sunbathing areas
- Full beam master cabin, large windows, ensuite
- Main salon with large windows, light-filled
- Zero-speed stabilizers for comfortable cruising
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 21'4" beam and a 11'8" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 98 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Built by Sunseeker in 2014, Play the Game showcases a sleek profile that does not compromise on practical outdoor guest spaces.
The sun deck is notably expansive, equipped with a variety of amenities designed to meet the needs of guests. It features a secondary helm station, allowing for an additional navigation point, and a large fixed sunroof that can be opened to suit weather conditions. Guests can enjoy ample dining space, a wet bar, and aft sunbathing areas, ensuring a versatile outdoor experience.
The innovative design extends to the forward seating area, offering a more private and comfortable space for guests to relax, particularly on warmer days. This area is well-positioned to capture a pleasant breeze while providing an excellent vantage point.
A defining feature of Play the Game’s exterior is the hydraulic swim platform. Not only does it serve as the housing for the guest tender – notably larger than standard options – but it can also be lowered to facilitate easy access to the water, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for activities.
Interior Design
The main salon is a central feature of the interior, where large windows play a crucial role in illuminating the space with natural light. This design choice not only enhances the feeling of openness but also establishes a strong connection with the sea outside. The inclusion of a drop-down balcony on the starboard side offers an additional outdoor space to enjoy views of the sea. The salon's seating area is spacious, designed for socializing and relaxation. The dining area within the salon is strategically placed for convenience, featuring a sizeable table that accommodates indoor dining needs, complemented by a nearby wine cellar for added sophistication.
The galley, positioned on the port side, showcases a practical layout that allows for efficient meal preparation and service. Following a refit, the galley has been updated to include modern appliances and ample workspace, catering to the culinary needs of guests during charter periods. The ability to open up or close off the galley from the main living areas provides flexibility in how the space is utilized, whether for open entertaining or more formal occasions.
Accommodation
Play the Game provides sleeping arrangements for eight guests across four cabins. The yacht's layout includes a full beam master cabin located midship, which is notably the most stable position on the boat. This master cabin is equipped with large windows that allow for ample natural light and provide a serene view of the surroundings. It also comes with a well-equipped ensuite, enhancing the overall comfort and privacy of the experience.
Additionally, Play the Game features a VIP cabin that could rival the master cabin in terms of space and luxury. Located forward, it spans the full beam of the yacht at the bow, offering a secluded and spacious area for guests. This cabin is unique in its positioning, providing a level of privacy that is uncommon among other cabins.
For guest accommodation, there is a double cabin situated aft that offers views out to the sea at sea level, creating a unique and enchanting morning experience. Moreover, there is a twin cabin which can be converted into a double, catering to the requirements of charter purposes or accommodating the preferences of guests aboard.
The crew accommodation is strategically located at the stern of the vessel, near the engine room. It includes a compact seating area and two cabins designed to house a total of four crew members.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M94) 12-cylinder 1,950hp engines, motor yacht Play the Game is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 16 knots.
