  • Expansive exterior decks for sunbathing
  • Full-beam owner's suite with private lounge
  • Heli-pad with refueling capability

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.5m beam and a 3.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,150 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Construction started in mid 1998. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Queen Mavia offers practical and versatile spaces for outdoor activities. The expansive deck areas are ideal for sunbathing or enjoying alfresco dining with friends and family.  The sun deck is divided by an indoor sun lounge, known as The Key West Lounge, with electronically operated circular doors that can be opened completely. The aft section of this deck is designed for helicopter operations, including refueling capabilities.

The hull, made from durable steel, features a raked bow that enhances its navigational capabilities. The superstructure is constructed from aluminium, providing a lightweight yet sturdy framework.

The deck is crafted from teak, known for its resilience and classic appearance. The yacht's hull and superstructure are both painted white, presenting a clean and cohesive look. The boot top and the area below the waterline are finished in black, creating a stark contrast with the white exterior. This design choice not only adds to Queen Mavia's visual appeal but also emphasizes its sleek and practical lines.

Interior Design

The luminous salon is a key area where guests can socialize. It features a chandelier hanging above a glossy coffee table, flanked by a cream-colored sofa. The main salon, located aft, leads through to a private owner's study on the port side midships, providing a quiet area for work or reading. Opposite the study, on the starboard side, there is a gymnasium equipped for physical exercise.

The central passageway of the main deck leads to a dining room with panoramic views across the forepeak. This dining area is designed to accommodate pre-or post-dinner drinks, making it a versatile space for social gatherings.

Accommodation

Queen Mavia is designed to host up to 12 guests in six well-appointed staterooms comfortably. The owner’s suite is located on the upper deck and spans the yacht's full beam. This suite features a semicircle-shaped layout with expansive windows offering panoramic views. The room includes a large bed with luxurious linens, a walk-through dressing area, and a private lounge that opens onto an aft deck. The suite also boasts a discreetly accessed, elegantly designed bathroom. The remaining guest accommodation includes five additional staterooms: one VIP cabin, two double cabins, and two twin cabins.

For the crew, Queen Mavia provides seven cabins that can accommodate up to 13 members. This ensures that service and operations are managed efficiently, allowing guests to enjoy their time on the yacht fully.
