Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 16.5m beam and a 4.7m draft. The yacht is built over 7 decks with an internal volume of 4,980 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.
Construction started in early 2018 with the keel laid under the project name 'Acquaintance'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in October 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2022.
Exterior Design
With sharp lines and a raked bow, the hull was designed to deliver technological advancements in both seakeeping and hydrodynamic efficiency.
A standout feature in terms of guest amenities is the expansive beach club extending generously from the opening transom. Accessible from both sides, steps lead down from the large pool designed into the main deck. The pool allows light to flood the interior of the wellness area below. Extensive shade can be provided over the beach club area providing privacy from drone intrusion, in addition to providing sun protection. Deck furniture is showcased, emphasizing both form and function, rather than being concealed.
Two helipads are onboard - one forward on the main deck, and the second one aft of the sun deck. The owner's deck and main deck feature a private jacuzzi and exterior salon with forward-facing views and a clutter-free foredeck when a helicopter is not in position. An observation deck is elegantly designed into the elevated area below the radar masts. The yacht's design is characterized by simplicity, devoid of arches or superstructure intrusions; smart deck lines are suspended without obvious supports.
Large windows grace the lower deck, while expansive walls of windows adorn the main and upper decks, creating a connection between the interior and the oceanscape.
Interior Design
The yacht's contemporary interior is a collaboration between Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and New York-based David Kleinberg Design Associates. Kleinberg is renowned for his work on homes along the US East Coast. The interior styling likely reflects his signature blend of ornate patterns and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic.
