  • Spacious sun deck with hot tub

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.18m beam and a 2.31m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 298 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in February 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in May 2013.

Exterior Design

Retriever features a raked bow, which contributes to its sleek and streamlined profile. Both the hull and superstructure are finished in classic white, providing a clean and timeless appearance. The deck is made from teak, a material chosen for its robustness and aesthetic appeal. The boot top and below the waterline areas are painted black, offering a striking contrast to the white hull and superstructure.

On the main deck, there is a Portuguese bridge, an area for sunbathing, and the necessary equipment for anchor handling. The deck is designed with crew accessibility in mind, allowing for easy movement and operation. The sun deck features an opening roof, a projector for outdoor movie nights, and a spacious seating area. There is also a large hot tub, the biggest ever fitted on this model, and a bar area complete with a fridge, sink, and storage.

Retriever is equipped with perspex sections around the deck to prevent any pets or small children from slipping through the gaps, a thoughtful addition for safety. These sections are discreet and blend in well with the overall design.

The aft deck provides additional seating and access to the main deck. The tender garage, which houses the yacht's tender, is located at the stern but is kept closed for safety.

Retriever boasts a main deck owner's cabin, floor-to-ceiling windows, a sun deck hot tub, and luxurious accommodations for 10 guests.

Interior Design

Retriever features a Zeretti interior that leans towards a contemporary and comfortable aesthetic. The design incorporates lighter tones and a matte finish, moving away from the high-gloss styles seen in previous models.

The main salon is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow natural light to flood the space, enhancing its openness. The dining area is distinct from the main lounge, separated by sliding sections that can be closed to create an intimate dining environment. The galley, located on the main deck, is well-equipped with ample refrigeration and cooking facilities. The inclusion of a dumbwaiter system allows for efficient service, connecting the galley to the upper decks.

The helm is fitted with multi-function screens, engine controls, a bow thruster, and communication systems. The bridge also features a camera system for enhanced security and monitoring. Adjacent to the helm is the captain's cabin, providing convenient access and functionality for the crew.

The sky lounge on the upper deck is another focal point, featuring a concealed bar and a large television, making it suitable for movie nights or casual gatherings. The area is accentuated with unique artwork that adds a touch of personality to the space.

Accommodation

Retriever offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five suites. Located on the main deck, the owner's suite is a spacious retreat featuring an office area and a separate walk-in wardrobe. The suite includes a large en-suite bathroom, which is equipped with a proper bath, dual sinks, a bidet, and a rainfall shower.

The lower deck of the Retriever houses four additional guest cabins. This includes two twin cabins. Both of these cabins feature Pullman berths, allowing them to comfortably accommodate up to three guests each. One cabin is designed with blue onyx accents, while the other features pink onyx, catering to the owner's children—a boy and a girl. Each twin cabin has its own en-suite bathroom with standard amenities including a toilet, sink, and shower.

The two VIP cabins are slightly larger and are designed to offer a premium experience to the guests. Each VIP cabin features large hull windows, ample storage, and a well-appointed en-suite bathroom with a toilet, bidet, and a rainfall shower.

Located on the lower deck, three twin cabins provide sleeping arrangements for up to six crew members. Each cabin includes twin berths and an en-suite bathroom with a separate shower. Positioned just behind the bridge on the upper deck, the captain's cabin is equipped with its own en-suite bathroom, ensuring the captain has a private and convenient living space.
