Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 11.4m beam and a 3.4m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 1,347 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2015. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in August 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the yacht Samaya is functional and purposeful, reflecting its primary role in global diving expeditions. The yacht is painted in a lunar white that subtly shifts to reveal hints of pink during sunset. This is complemented by a teal waterline inspired by a rare blue-green fish observed by the owner during a dive.
A significant element of Samaya's design is the backlit manta ray symbol on its fashion plates, underscoring the owner's commitment to marine conservation. The overall profile of the yacht incorporates influences from marine life, particularly in the design of the side bulwarks, which echo the muscular shape of a bull shark.
The yacht is equipped with two tenders, measuring 8.8 metres and 7.2 metres, designed for reaching remote diving sites. These tenders match the yacht's color scheme and are stored in a dedicated garage on the main deck, accessible through large doors.
Samaya's main deck aft features a flat-bottomed plunge pool filled with hot water, designed to aid divers in warming up quickly after returning from the depths. The yacht's heating systems allow luxury areas to reach a temperature of 30 °C for additional comfort.
Interior Design
The interior design of Samaya reflects a strong connection to international cultures. The ethnic lounge on the bridge deck is a focal point, providing a space where guests can watch their diving excursions on video. This area is designed with an emphasis on comfort and cultural motifs, ensuring that it serves as a welcoming gathering spot for family and friends.
In terms of amenities, Samaya is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the onboard experience. The dive room at the stern is particularly noteworthy, featuring a teal-coloured floor and a metallic/wood ceiling. This space includes a nitrox-enriched air system and has been thoughtfully arranged to accommodate all necessary diving equipment.
Accommodation
Samaya offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin and 1 VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) engines, motor yacht Samaya is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 160,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles.

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
