Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 1.96m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2007. Launched in March 2009 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in June 2009.
Exterior Design
Starting with the sundeck, the space is designed for relaxation and leisure. It features a forward-facing seating area at the front, a Miele BBQ station on the starboard side, and a sunbathing area at the back. The central space is versatile, suitable for adding a dining table or using it for workouts.
Moving down to the upper deck, the area is optimized for dining. There are two dining tables, providing the option for adults and children to eat separately yet within the same vicinity. This layout meets the needs of families vacationing together.
The main aft deck is equipped with comfortable seating and a low coffee table, creating a spot to enjoy the scenery whether the yacht is anchored or underway. The bow area features a Portuguese bridge, enhancing convenience for the crew during operations like lowering the anchor. This practical design allows easy movement between the winches and the bridge without navigating multiple side decks and steps.
The hull features a raked bow, contributing to its sleek profile and efficient water flow. The deck is crafted from teak, providing a sturdy and classic surface underfoot. The exterior of Soho is marked by its dark blue hull, contrasting with the white superstructure. This color scheme is complemented by a white boot top, adding a clean, sharp line to the vessel's appearance.
Interior Design
The sky lounge offers a spacious and comfortable seating area, perfect for family gatherings or casual relaxation. The lounge is equipped with a well-sized bar, facilitating ease of service from the galley below, thanks to a convenient dumbwaiter. Adjacent to the lounge is an elegant day head, featuring a shower cubicle, ensuring that guests have easy access to necessary amenities.
The main lounge continues the theme of limed oak and open space, providing a welcoming environment for relaxation and entertainment. The stairwell leading down to the guest accommodation is designed with an open-plan approach. A tastefully designed bar area and modern, comfortable seating arrangements are ideal for socializing or enjoying media on the pop-up television.
The galley is fully equipped to meet the needs of a professional chef, featuring a large Siemens oven, a secondary Miele oven, and a Miele hob. The ample storage space, including refrigeration and cabinetry, ensures that all culinary requirements can be efficiently managed. The galley also includes a dining area.
The helm station is designed for optimal functionality and visibility. It includes essential navigation instruments such as radar, GPS, and closed-circuit television, as well as controls for zero-speed stabilizers, throttles, and the bow thruster. The layout accommodates multiple crew members comfortably, with additional seating and a small desk area for operational tasks.
Accommodation
Soho is designed to accommodate up to 10 guests in five well-furnished cabins. These include an owner suite and additional guest staterooms.
The owner suite on Soho is situated on the main deck. It features a spacious layout that includes a private study area, ample wardrobe space, and an ensuite bathroom with high-quality fittings. On the lower deck, there are four guest cabins. These consist of two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom.
Soho is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
