Azimut announces new flybridge model

The Italian yard has announced details of the latest model to join its Flybridge Line, the 16m (53ft) Azimut 53 Fly.

Continuing the Azimut tradition of not conforming to traditional conventions, the Azimut 53 Fly features sleek and clean lines courtesy of Alberto Mancini.

Azimut’s use of glass has been a feature of its models and wide flowing side glazing extends from stem to stern on the 53 Fly, minimizing the use of fiberglass and enhancing the yacht’s slender lines.

The top of the superstructure is split by a horizontal black ribbon that serves to break up the yacht’s volume, whilst a raised bulwark forward resembles an arrow and adds a sense of pace and movement to the profile of the yacht.

The expansive flybridge comes complete with spacious lounging areas, whilst the contoured edges add a feeling of automotive design to the 53 Fly.

Currently there are very few details about the Azimut 53 Fly, but it will be part of Azimut’s Flybridge Collection, a line characterized by broad bows giving generous interior volume and large superstructure windows giving panoramic views.

With a pedigree for creating stylish yachts and pushing boundaries Azimut has played a defining role in yacht design. To see examples of this view all Azimut yachts for sale.
