The 30m (98') flybridge yacht is a “more sophisticated and contemporary” take on the Magellano 25 Metri, which is due to be launched in the coming weeks. The Magellano 30 Metri will replace it as the top model in Magellano series when it launches.
With an exterior by Ken Freivokh and an interior designed by Vincenzo DeCotiis, the yacht will feature “voluminous lines and a naval inspired appearance”. Anyone looking to buy a Magellano 30 Metri will be getting Azimut’s contemporary take on a traditional trawler.
Full details of the Magellano 30 Metri are still to be released, but it is expected that she will have an open floor plan, extending from the salon straight through to the galley on the main deck. Accommodation looks likely to be for up to eight guests in four suites, comprising an owners cabin, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying five crew.
One of the hallmarks of any of Azimut’s Magellano series for sale is long range cruising potential and the Magellano 30 Metri is no different.
She is equipped with a Dual Mode hull that will offer efficient performance at both slower displacement speeds and higher planing speeds. You can expect a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
The Magellano 30 Metri will also use Azimut’s new fresh air system, which exchanges interior air for fresh air every hour and uses UV light and a filter to turn air pollutants into harmless substances.
