Off the back of strong global sales, Bill Michel has been brought on board to help manage the shipyard's growth, particularly in the US, the yard's second biggest market, while also handling the very personal levels of customer service that Maritimo Owners are accustomed to.
Setting up a base in Florida, Michel's presence will be felt throughout the Australian company, using his extensive experience in the industry to assist Maritimo in achieving its long-term initiatives.
Commenting on upcoming communications with the dealer and sales development, customer service, and marketing divisions, Dave Northrop, Maritimo President of the Americas, says "having someone of Bill’s caliber and background to help lead us into the future and help manage our continued anticipated growth."

Bringing a vast amount of experience to his new placement, Bill Michel has previously worked as the Managing Director of SureShade and New Product Development for Lippert; owner of TaylorMade Systems, Lewmar, and SureShade.
Responsible for strategic planning in the area of marine products, Michel has also made his name as Vice President/Managing Director of Uflex USA. Working with the Italian-based Ultraflex Group division for 24 years he showcased his skills in managing many elements of the business including sales, marketing, and distribution.
