Scheduled to run from 21-29 January, the 2023 Boot Dusseldorf show will feature the inaugural edition of the Boot Dive Awards.
Long associated with the popular dive expo, Boot Dusseldorf has taken a further step to cement its support for the sport, and indeed the nautical industry, by launching a new award ceremony dedicated to the recognition of those who have contributed to the diving scene and way of life.
Created in collaboration between German-speaking media including VDSTsporttaucher and TAUCHEN, the Boot Dive Awards are to be presented annually in conjunction with the main show and cover five categories which are; Personality, Destination, Innovation, Product and Climate.
It will show the development in the diving sector and will bring diving scenery to the public.

After closing applications, a curated panel of judges will select three nominees per category and it will then be a combined score of a public vote and the input from the judges that makes the final decision on the winners.
The winning nominees for the inaugural edition are currently scheduled to be announced on 27 January 2023.
